Bare Bliss Box Gilt Subscription Update

I wrote Bare Bliss Box to as if the Gilt boxes were different then what regular subscribers were getting and this is their reply:

You are correct, the Gilt customers were sent a different box than our regular subscribers. Their first box was a compilation of some of our favorite products.

While I am personally a bit disappointed that Gilt coupon users are not getting the actual real experience of getting the box, I was happy with the box I received. I will continue to review them as they arrive and I will note the difference.

    What about the second and third month? Getting information out of the owner is always difficult. You can infer that the second and third might be the same as the subscribers, but it doesn’t actually say that.

    The whole thing is disappointing because you go in thinking you are saving $ on an actual subscription. Then you find out you have to pay shipping when regular subscribers don’t making the savings very little, THEN they don’t send you what others are getting.

    I have a feeling Gilt people will end up with leftovers the entire time.mi didn’t mind the box However, it’s just bad business. I didn’t really get a “deal” and I was mislead on what I was buying.

    I’ll continue to review but for these reasons I will likely not subscribe after.

    It looks like you are one of the lucky ones. I haven’t seen a review from a current subscriber yet, and other Gilt City voucher people have not receive their boxes.

      I put in my voucher the day after I got it so maybe I was just fast. It puts things in perspective though. I think they need to step up their game because Kloverbox is going to smash them. The level of service is night and day!

    I’m bummed that Eco Emi cancelled their Beauty box today. I have yet to see a review from a regular subscriber for the Feb box. Why can’t Bare Bliss Box be all it can be 🙁

      Really? I though that was a popular box! I dunno about this box. It doesn’t feel like they give a care. Maybe because I used a coupon. I did like the box I got, I just feel they have been a wee bit shady. Maybe Kloverbox will fill the void?

        Kloverbox is great! I never did write on your blog post that I receive it. I used up the conditioner and scrub already.

          I used the scrub. My winter skin is feeling good. If you can call San Diego winter. I’m glad you get it, it’s one of my fav so far. I have subscribed to a lot more boxes so hopefully they show up so I cn write more. I ordered two more Golden tote mystery bags and I’m going to get a tote because of the elephant dress.

            It can be addicting. It will be interesting to read the Golden Tote reviews. I bought the mystery tote in Jan and now know beyond a doubt that swing dresses look horrible on me. I must had missed the elephant dress – is that Feb or Mar? What boxes are coming your way?

            I have birchbox male and female, klover, ipsy, blush, glossy, Darby, lbb, popsugar, ouiplease, frenchbox (hahahah) and a few more I’m just blanking out!

            That’s a good mix. People are passionate about the boxes you mentioned. I’m curious what the FrenchBox update will entail since I am no longer a subscriber. It sounds as though decisions have been made. I am wondering whether the box will continue.

            I’m stuck with a year subscription so if they do stay around I’ll keep reviewing. I am so unhappy with what they think is a good solution. No way I can trust any cosmetics they send. Le sigh!
