Gentleman’s Box Review February 2015

Gentleman’s Box a monthly subscription box focused on lifestyle items for that GQ reader in your life.

Cost: $25 a month

This month the theme was “Honoring Our Favorite Grandfather.” Which I dig because it begs the question on how they felt about that other less favorite grandfather. I wonder what knocked him out of the running? Did he not have any good candy or were his stories just super boring?

The Box!

The box arrived a little worse for wear. However it has a woody look that says manly!

Inside everything is looking good. I like how they have sections for everything.

Thought I was joking about the GQ part? Indeed, they include a mag in every box. ($6)

Richer Poorer Walk On Socks

Richer Poorer Walk On Socks ($12). These are pretty snazzy and menfolk can always use socks. Trust me, I overheard a woman tell her son this on a bus when I was like 8 years old.

Boozestones

Boozestones Whisky Stones ($10). Pretty cool and I can imagine if I had a favorite pawpaw that he would fashion stones in which to submerge in his moonshine.

Harrison Blake Apparel Berry Moss Red Lapel ($10). This did not get great feedback. You could see strings of glue. I dunno, everyone can agree our favorite grand papa would not wear this, even for a hot night of bingo.

LA Fresh Shoe Shine Wipes

LA Fresh Shoe Shine Wipes ($4). Gramps would want your shoes looking nice.

Jack Black Lip Balm

Jack Black Lip Balm ($7.50). This has SPF! Yay! Finally a manly lip balm that also promotes lip health.

Wooden Badger Shaving Brush

Wooden Badger Shaving Brush ($15). This really reminds me of an older man! Great addition to the box that goes with the theme.

Overall Value: $64.50

Gentlemen’s Box does deliver a good value and selection of items. There were some misses (I’m looking at you weird foam red lapel pin). However, many men would be able to put many of these items to good use.

It looked interesting and I knew if there were things I couldn’t gift I could easily put them up for swap and get stuff I wanted!

Thanks it is the free version of Arcade. I might go all in and buy the whole version if I ever get my act together. I have no recommendations because I suck at anything tech and literally have no ideal it took me a whole week to figure out how to turn on comments LOL good luck with you website and your product (I saw your link)
