Wantable Accessories Review – May 2015

Disclosure: This review has hyperlinks to Wantable that if you were to sign up through would credit my account $10. I decided to make use of this feature because my wallet is so small but my addiction is so big. If you want you can choose to go to the website without using the link by typing: www.wantable.com

Wantable is  a subscription service that offers a lot of different options. They have clothing, fitness clothing, beauty, intimates, and accessories. This is a review of the accessories subscription which sells for $40 the first month and then $36 each month after. You are able to return items you do not like and have them credit your account which I think it pretty good for this type of box.

I really like that Wantable allows you to ask for what you want (so it pays to check out a lot of reviews so you can see if anything looks good to you), return items, and it shows up at the start of the month.

My Box arrived exclaiming to the world that I like other people to pick out my accessories:

I couldn’t wait to tear it open!

Leilani Necklace Gold
Leilani Necklace Gold

Leilani Necklace Gold: I think if you do not own a necklace with triangles by the end of this month you may be taken out to the town square and roundly beaten. It is the trend that is almost impossible to get around. I dig triangles so I am not offended by them,  I just have never been so faced with a trend. Ok, that is sort of a lie. Remember fanny packs? Like the neon ones? If you don’t then you are young and should get off the computer and go outside into the sunshine. I just remember how I had like three of them in various offending shades and so did everyone else.

There was a thumb print on the necklace that was not mine. It was indeed hand selected or at least looked over! I think I can just wipe off with my shirt and it will be as good as new. They say retail is $26 which isn’t out of this world. My price of $13.16 is fair.

Wantable wants me to wear this with a collared blouse, I want to wear this with a hen printed maxi dress. Who will win?

Jessa Necklace G
Jessa Necklace G

Jessa Necklace G: I don’t understand what the G in the name is supposed to signify, probably “gold” but I would like to think “gallant.”  Basically this is like a polished stone ball with one lone little crystal inside of a cage. For whatever reason I was sort of startled by this piece. I would have never bought this but I really like it.

While I agree I could “wear with a simple tee,” I also could wear with any outfit that finds me walking alone downtown because this sucker could turn into a defensive weapon pretty easily. Perfect!

Clarissa Sunglasses Gold
Clarissa Sunglasses Gold

Clarissa Sunglasses Gold: These are not for me. I even have one of those sunglasses faces where I can usually make them work.  I am going to keep them as my driving glasses because they do not rest on the bridge of my nose and so they will not leave that mark on the top of it.  I like the arrow detailing, however the color I ended up with washes me out. It might be tough being green, but it is also tough being pink like me!

While wearing this with a “high pony tail” might work for most, I think I will pair these with my driving gloves and slightly zoned out stare. My driving look if you will!

Anne Bracelet Multi: I love multi tones because it means I don’t have to change everything else I am wearing. I can’t even match my socks most of the time, so worrying about my earrings matching with a bracelet is beyond what I can do on a daily basis. Anyway, I like that his is slip on and it has cute details. It is too big for my wrist though. I have very small wrists that my mom jokes about it saying they speak to my Aristocratic breeding, my healthy sized ankles on the other hand speak of the many farmers I surely have come from. They say this retails at $18, but even at the discounted price of $9.11 I cannot see myself paying that much. I think it is mostly do to the fact that it does not fit the way I would  like. On the bright side I get to show off my luxurious arm hair to anyone willing to read this blog!

I could wear this to a meeting and let slide up and down my wrist making a light jingling noise. If I do it at the right moments I can effectively annoy everyone in the room!

Verdict: Wantable makes me consider different accessories that are out of my comfort zone. I am happy with this box and will find a use for each of the items. While not everything was a home run it has been really fun trying out new items. This box is awesome for someone who wants to try new things. The quality is not mind blowing, but not terrible either. It is a fun box that strives to make you happy!

The first necklace reminds me of the infamous PopSugar earrings. I’m not sure if my emails are reaching you. Sometimes Yahoo doesn’t want to talk to Gmail. Thank you very much for the DarbySmart box 🙂 It was thoughtful and kind of you. I love the scents and created my own BBW products! I sent out your package which should arrive on Wednesday. Also, do you wear earrings? I have earrings from the Fancy Mother’s Day box that I can’t use. Can you use them?

I just haven’t been online do to work and general laziness (not sure if I should blame it on my condition or the actual fact I was born lazy as they both produce fatigue) but I’m so glad you got it! My boss said that hers didn’t turn out well because the online instructions made it too strong. So be ready for that! I do wear earrings but haven’t seen the Fancy box pair! I would hate for you to part with anything on account of me as I’m happy you even read my reviews lol

Earrings have zero value to me. I can’t wear them and am running out of people who want them.

        Audrey Earring
One less thing that mom has to think about when she wears her Audrey Necklace. This matching pair of earrings features a delicate gold filled chain with gold filled beads.

I can’t find the link anymore for the earrings, but the model is wearing them in the picture with the necklace.

        I hope you feel better!

Well if nobody wants them, I think they are cute! I’m feeling a tad better. I’m at this very moment traveling for work. I’m wondering if the $6 Fiji water is worth it or should I brave the tap water… Hmmmm.

Maybe the $6.00 water is the better answer if you have to ask that question about the water. I don’t know if you are in the US or not, but here the local water is in the news a lot because it’s bad. I don’t drink it. Drink the better water especially if you can expense it.

I typically am the one writing so rarely have time to actually read blog posts. However, I stumbled upon your blog, and I am so glad I did. I was checking out your Wantable post as I was at a crossroads of which box I wanted to try/do a review on next. I must say your witty humor and captivating writings have truly made my day. After two hours of being here I can’t stop reading, and that my dear is a true talent and a gift I hope I can capture through my writings one day too. Can’t wait to read more of your posts, and hope you have a stupendous day!
