I love gardening, herbs, and the great outdoors. I read about Herbal Bliss and knew it was a box that I had to try. This will be my fourth month with Herbal Bliss. I am doing a 2 part review because this is the first time the box is being reviewed on the blog. Click here to read Part 1
Subscription: Herbal Bliss
Cost: $25.00/month, $66.00/3 months, $120.00/6 months, $216.00/12 months
What to Expect: Five unique herbal samples
The items revealed.
Wild Herb Soap Co Sweet Orange Natural Laundry Detergent: The laundry detergent has an appealing scent. I can smell the oranges in it. I will try this on my towels and see how they come out.
I love the short ingredient list. I’m glad that sweet orange was selected because it is known for removing stains.
Dirt and boys. They go together.
The Herb Room Lemon Ginger Herbal Tea: I could smell the lemongrass and ginger when I opened the package. The organic tea has cinnamon chips!
The different herbs can be seen easily. The hibiscus flowers add a nice color contrast to the tea.
Sorry cats, no catnip in this tea.
Circa Soap Apothecary Milk and Honey Bubble Biscuit with Mango Butter: Thank you, Shana, for encouraging me to relax by taking baths. It is a relaxing experiencing. The bubble biscuit has a light mango scent.
The words bubble biscuit brings out the immature child in me.
In The Weeds Fig & Wild Berry Lip Balm: My first thought when I saw the tin is that this is the same size as the Jacobsen Salt that came in the Goodebox last year. I went to the in the weeds website to learn more about the company. I saw the owner’s picture and thought to myself that she has great skin and hair. It says in her biography that she studied to be an esthetician. A project that she completed during her studies lead to the creation of her company and its bestseller.
The lip balm goes on slightly sticky for about 20 seconds. I did not see a noticeable coloring to my lips.
Now you no longer have to forage for weeds, you can shop in the weeds instead.
Owens Acre Sacred Slumber Dream Salve: Raise your hand if you are receiving enough sleep. All I see is kitty paws up in the air.
Owens Acres is a 13 acre microfarm. The owner offers an impressive array of items.
The salve practically melts into your skin. I used to use Badger Sleep Balm on my teenager when he was a toddler. I wonder how this compares. I will be trying this out.
I’m becoming so sleepy that I don’t know if I will finish the review.
Owen Acres Edible Flower Garden: This is a cute tin of flower seeds. I will be saving them for next year.
The seeds will keep in a cool place until next year. It’s too late this year for me to plant the seeds. We will be planting fall garden seeds next week.
I have eaten flowers in salads and also for dessert. This will be a fun project for the little guy next year.
Cake frosting flowers do not count!
Verdict: This month is a great month with wonderful items that I cannot wait to try. I enjoy the variety of items and that it is not solely beauty focused. Herbal Bliss continues to surprise me with their finds. I can’t wait to see what is in next month’s box.
