Dottiebox knows I need more soap!
Spruce and Fresh Morning Glory Soap: I think the best part of blogging is learning about the artisans. I went to the Spruce and Fresh website to learn more about them. They are on a medical missions trip to Honduras! Dottiebox sends out emails describing the artisians featured in the box. The owner’s inspiration is baked goods. Check out her frosting bundt cake bath bombs. I will be visiting the website once it is live again.
The soap is beautiful. It has a delightful orange scent with a slight rose scent to it. I found that it lathered up well when I used it today.
I never realized how busy my flower beds were until I started taking pictures. This is the second time the hummingbird moth came to visit me. The moth is next to the pink flower on the right. It looks like a fat worm with green wings. It was hard to catch a picture of the moth. It moved very fast.
Koco and Viking Necklace: The owner creates handmade gifts that are meaningful. This is a fun silver-plated necklace. I love the saying.
I will wear this when I am doing school activities.
The Hummingbird Moth brought a friend. They were both flying and visiting flowers together. It was a wonderful sight to see.
Dottiebox also has their line of items. The drink kozzie was not assigned a value on the information card.
I’ve always enjoyed Dottieboxes. The items are always interesting and most times I can use them. I’m looking forward to next month.
What do you think of Dottiebox? Share your thoughts and anything else on your mind!
Umm…. shouldn’t it be “be led by your dreams”? (I feel really weird correcting grammar, I’m gonna go split an infinitive or something in penance)
I’m going to wear it to an enrichment writing class that I teach to middle schoolers. I think it is from the quote, “Don’t be pushed by your problems. Be led by your dreams.” Ralph Waldo Emerson. There could be a modern day play on the quote which would explain the corruption of the quote on the web – “Be lead by your dreams.”
Maybe it will start a good conversation.
It is a great quote. Love Emerson!
Growing up, my dad would always correct my grammar and I would try and counter with an interpretation that was grammatically correct (I.e., “no dad, I didn’t mean fewer people, I meant less, the people are all very small). Maybe you could challenge the kids to do the same.
Like, maybe it’s an alchemists’s curse? Be turned into lead by your dreams instead of gold?
I think I read too much fantasy…:-)
Love the explanation!
