GlobeIn Benefit Basket Unboxing – August 2015

Disclosure: This box was paid for by me. There are affiliate links in this post.

I first noticed GlobeIn when I purchased a one time home box late last year. I became a customer in February and was able to purchase a January box. I purchased every box this year except for the June 2015 box back when I thought I was going in for surgery soon. I found their customer service to be wonderful and responsive. Opening the GlobeIn Box is a big event in my house because of the basket. They are in demand!

Inside my basket was a green 100 % organic cotton tote containing 3 Wool Dryer Balls

3 wool balls
3 wool balls

Wool Dryer Balls: The eco-friendly wool dryer balls cuts down on dryer time, softens clothes, and reduces wrinkles. Essential oils can be added to the dryer balls to give laundry a light scent.

Large!
Large!

The wool dryer balls are 3.25 inches long. I used a dog tennis ball complete with dog hair to show size.

I saw pictures but did not comprehend the size until I saw them in person. One of the nice things about GlobeIn is that you can buy the items in their online store. Click here to purchase dryer balls. Don’t forget to read Subscriptionista’s Review to learn about the artisans that created the wool balls.

Verdict: Globein did a wonderful job with the August 2015 box.  I love the dryer balls and will be using them tomorrow. I also appreciated being reminded of having gratitude over laundry.

If I don’t see the dryer balls in your hand then it didn’t happen… 😉

I have to go to the Dr tomorrow for my ear. I actually think I have a problem!

Awesome unboxing as always and I will write more once I can get my ear sorted.

I hope you start feeling better soon, and that it is something minor.I’m still feeling down from the cross-country meeting. I never had so many problems until I moved here. That meeting touched a nerve and upset me 🙁

I will have to wait until tomorrow to know if I can get in to see someone to gaze into my ear and behold what ails me…

I think you have every right to be upset. I hate meetings like that! We are here for you!!!!

As long as they don’t find Barney in your ear, all is well. I’m working on Egg Drop right now. I’m trying to get the pictures just right! It’s the first time I try to put them in this way since the Decoterie review.

Pnut referred me back to this post =) I got a brown ball bag! Also, I have two pink/red baskets that I’ve been too lazy to put up for swap.

As for the wooly balls, have anyone else’s gotten all spotty and dirty? I assume it’s because of the essential oil spritzes from my Darby Smart perfume-turned-laundry-spray. They’re so loud in the laundry! I thought one night someone left the TV on, but no, it was a rave in the dryer.

epiphany: I think “it’s gettin’ hot in hurr, so take off all your clothes” was written about a dryer!!

My balls get it on in the dryer too! Sub Bella sent me one of hers so I have 2 pairs of balls. I made some comment on another post I cannot remember where that my only complaint about the balls was they sent them in three and what happened to the fourth ball they should have sent balls in pairs that would have been the right thing to do.
Digress, my balls come out clean although they do look like a hot mess (unvirginal if that makes sense). So even though they get busy a lot they are not dirty like yours lol so it must be the kiss of fragrance I would think!

It must be the oil in the perfume… perchance they need some baby powder?

        • October 10, 2015 at 11:14 pm

Heh … Baby powder not just for babies 😉
