Smashbox Be Legendary Long-Wear Lip Laquer in Bordeaux: Who remembers the December PopSugar Must Have Box? Remember the discounts and confusion?
I wasn’t going to bother trying the Smashbox because it looked dark. I decided to try it when my box arrived. It looks amazing on me! It brightens my face and makes my eyes pop. It’s true that the right shade makes all the difference.

None that are HG status. HG to me means I will buy it and not care what it costs and even worse, I will probably stop looking at others.
Once I decide something is MY brand I use it until it and usually only it.
That is why the subs are opening my eyes to new stuff. I HAVE to try new things. Lips products aren’t my jam but I love lipstick bars purple rain!
I think I am in agreement with you Subista because my HGs for makeup generally are MAC meaning if i make a makeup purchase, it is usually from the MAC brand. Other makeup I would use is limited to what I do not gift from sub boxes.
Another loyal HG for me is ZOYA nail polishes. I used to use OPI with Essie occasionally before I fell for ZOYA. If you do not care for nail polish loyalty that is cool but if you use nail polish you need to try out my HG the ZOYA nail polish remover. It comes in a flip top and the scent is very nice for a nail polish remover. it is even a primer for your nail polish. They got tons of promos on FB especially around the holidays.
I should be more into nail stuff the way I clutter this blog with my chipped polish pics hahaha I love Zoya, I will check out HG.
I think another reason I like Sub Bellas HG posts are because some products I never even THOUGHT about looking for an HG in. Like face serum!

My go to lip product is MAC Viva Glam VI. I’m never without a tube (literally because I have a tube in each of my purses and in my desk a work). I like the one from the most recent Zoe box too.
My twin sister is so in MAC she orders in bulk from a friend who works for them. I used to have them do my make up for parties and even prom. I would walk in a scrub and come out looking soooooo different!

It’s always drama around that time because she has to choose and budget her buys. I get to hear ALL about it. The trick is to make friends with someone who work there and then the world is yours.

I swapped this out, anything in this shade makes me look like a middle aged goth, no bueno.
