Disclosure: This box was paid for by me. This post contains a referral coupon code.
Where shall I begin with my Kloverbox love? I’ve been a subscriber since October 2014. I remember my boys and I were in awe of the first box. We received three Deco Lip Butters in butterscotch, pumpkin spice, and apple cider; one for each of us. The Zao eyeshadow was another item in that box. It was the first time in years that I was able to wear eyeshadow. I’ve watched Kloverbox grow as a company, celebrate its one year birthday, and hire additional employees! All my interactions with the owner have been wonderful.
Cost: $25/month, $71.25/3 months. $135.00/6 months
Coupon: SUB10 to save 10% off any subscription. Subscriptionista and I are excited to be able to offer our readers a coupon code!!!
What to Expect: Natural, organic cruelty-free items such as nutrition, home, lifestyle and beauty. Kloverbox has a knack of finding a couple products each month that are new to me despite me being subscribed to eco and natural boxes for over a year. It’s a great way to introduce healthier products into your life.
The August 2015 theme is Detox & Diminish. It’s the perfect theme as we transition into the fall season. I have yet to try any products. Why?
Friends don’t let friends go without Kloverbox. Subscriptionista thought she missed the August box because of her renewal. I was going to let her pick what she wanted out of my box. It all worked out in the end. There’s an August Kloverbox waiting for her at her home.
My little guy helped me open the package. He handed the items to me. I was happy to see an Angel Face Botanicals because I love the toner I received in my July Goodebox. The Angel Face Botanicals Super Detox Deep Pore Facial Cleanser has activated charcoal and argan oil in it.
I’m convinced that the Reiki and lots of loves cancels out the negative effects aloe has on my skin. Click here to read about my Angel Face Botanicals Order Unboxing from earlier this month.
The cleanser has a light tea scent and is a silver-gray color even though it looks black in the picture. I will be trying the cleanser tonight or tomorrow.
Subscriptionista will be happy to know that Angel Face Botanicals recommends using the cleanser once or twice a day.
I received the Bedrock and Bloom Smart Ash in the July 2015 Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. I have yet to try it. I want to try it and am familiar with the idea behind it. Now I have no excuse because I have two containers. It is made in Nashville, TN, USA.
I tried to detect a scent and ended up with ash on my nose. I could not smell anything. No need to worry if the ash lands on your sink. Use a wet paper towel to wipe it up and watch the sink shine.
A quick and easy way to have a shiny sink and shiny teeth.
The flower beds are taking a beating from the weather. It has been cold and now it is warm. The only flowers that look somewhat decent are the Marigolds. We will be planting fall flowers next week.
MyChelle has been featured in past subscription boxes. The most recent boxes are Goodebox June 2015 and Petit Vour August 2015. MyChelle knows how to do this right. I have yet to see a repeat item among subscription boxes.
The MyChelle Wrinkle Spot Treatment works by plumping up those wrinkle areas that distress us. It reduces wrinkle depth up to 47% within 28 days when used twice daily.
The rollerball applicator allows for better control. It’s a small bottle that you can keep at your desk or in your purse.
Use this at work when you feel those lines deepening.
This is how much I care about Subscriptionista’s Kloverbox needs. I did not try the soap.
I did not wet, lather, rinse, indulge and repeat.
I knew I could indulge in good clean fun.
I resisted Jacq’s Oganic Fancy Detox Cleansing Bar described as “addictive” and “enchanting” while the goat syndicate cheered me on. They disapprove the use of coconut oil, shea butter, and French rose clay without goat milk. Tomorrow I can indulge in the made-in-the-USA soap and detox while smelling cloves, vanilla, oranges, and more.
My little guy saved the best for last. He was excited that Kloverbox included seeds. He understands the importance of seeds. Kudos to Traditional Medicines marketing department. Their slogan is to “Drink your plants“. The detox teas are organic and are committed to being sustainable . The Lemon Tea is described as bittersweet. The Roasted Dandelion Root Tea is a coffee-like tea.
I do eat the chemical-free dandelions leaves in my yard. They are yummy in a salad. I have yet to try to make a dandelion tea. I will be brewing the teas this week.
The weeds in your yard and garden are an oasis of free food. Research before eating.
Verdict: Kloverbox did an excellent job with the Detox and Diminish theme. I can’t wait to try out the products in my box and am excited about every product. I’m glad that Subscriptionista received her August box because it would have been hard to share!
