I opened the box and saw the theme. I groaned and closed it. Patience. Sometimes I am not good at having patience. I wasn’t patient when I was mumbling about USPS taking its time moving the box across the country to me. The box usually arrives in a few days. This time it took almost a week.

The information card.

Loved + Blessed includes an information card detailing what is included in the box. My little guy helped me open this and wouldn’t let me peek at the card. He wanted me to be surprised!

I have a beautiful wood sign up over the dining room entrance that reads, “To the world you may be just one person, but to one person you may be the world. ”  I tried to take a picture of it, but it’s too long. It takes patience to live that out in everyday interactions.

Sometimes I don’t get the shot I want. I can either enjoy the beauty of this photo or be frustrated.

The postcard reminds me of the series Subscriptionista started. Out of the Box is a series about the little moments that are cool.  Sometimes it’s hard to see the little moments.

Gardening takes patience and enjoying the little moments.

It’s been unseasonal cool at our main residence. My garden thinks it is fall. Today it is 68 degrees at 12:30 pm The farm garden has been taken out by hail, replanted only to have it rain for 6 weeks (I do wish I could had sent it to our west coast readers), and it’s cooler there because of the higher elevation. It will be a poor harvest this year. Gardening requires much patience.

Did you see the necklace in the last photo? I wasn’t sure what to expect when I opened up the small box. I love the little flowers.

It took me about a half hour before I got this picture.
It took me about a half hour of waiting before I was able to take this picture.

I relaxed and enjoyed my son’s flower garden while waiting patiently for the small cabbage white butterfly to stay still long enough for a great photo. I need to learn more about my camera. The butterfly moved quickly and flapped its wings throughout all my pictures.

Patience, sigh. I have N O N E. this is one box I need and need to think about for the month. Though the last time I really prayed for patience I ended up with a special needs baby – nothing like practicing patience there….
