I imagine that people get sort of jealous when they see me clutching this in my hands!

“Let the Adventure Begin” is the theme this month!

Exciting!

Silk Shortbread – Mango Coconut Shortbread Tea Mates: I freaking LOVE shortbread!!! It just melts in your mouth in a way that I imagine clouds must if you ate them on a rainy day. While the creators hope that this will bring up childhood memories it does not. To do that you will have to make some fudge in a microwave.

I know these are supposed to be tea mates, but they also make great wine mates!

Byrd’s Famous Cookies – Key Lime Coolers: I hadn’t heard of Byrd’s Famous Cookies but now I am a huge fan. This actually surprised me because I was pretty much sure that these cookies would not be my thing. These cookies are delicious! The hint of zingy lime with the richness of the cookie made me gobble these up in the car like a darn pig!

After eating them in the car it took me a good 20 minutes to realize I was COVERED in crumbs…

Three Kids and a Kitchen – Original and Salted Caramel Snack Pack: My word! So good! The salted is always my favorite and these did not disappoint. The salted was saltier than others I have had in the past and it really gave me the fix I was looking for when I cracked these open. The ingredients are  often sourced locally, and the cream used in this candy was from a local creamery so it is super fresh. Yum!

I imagine if I had three kids they would probably have destroyed my kitchen!

Julian's Waffle - Liege Style Belgian Waffle
Julian’s Waffle – Liege Style Belgian Waffle

Julian’s Waffle – Liege Style Belgian Waffle: Liege waffles are not waffles landowners who you pledge your fidelity to. No. They are waffles that are made with metal plates so (yup a waffle iron)  and are crispy and doughy at the same time. They have little pearls of sugar and a caramelized crust. It is one of life’s greatest pleasures to eat these in Belgium while asking your host stupid questions like “So, do kids in Liege watch Wallooney Toons?”

Don’t worry if they think you are a stupid American, you were smart enough to find their treats weren’t you?

Donsuemor - Lemon Zest Madeline (moist)
Donsuemor – Lemon Zest Madeline (moist)

Donsuemor – Lemon Zest Madeline: I have never been a Madeline junkie. I l left that sort of life to my sister who would harass my parents into taking us to local French bakeries so that she could get her perfectly made Madeline. I would just point out chocolate stuff and say “I’ll take one of dis, and two of dat.” True story. Anyway this was nice and moist as well as lemony. I could eat like a couple handful of these.

The name is made by fitting together the first three letters of the owners names… what name do you get when you do that?

Verdict: I love getting Orange Glad! It is a little treat you can look forward to, and probably use every single treat the box! I find a lot of value in the curation of this box because they are very good at finding treats from places I would not have a chance to try. That is a big deal to me because it allows me to learn about a new sweet, and company, all the while indulging your sweet cravings

if you love shortbreads try TJ Kona Coffee Shortbreads. I only like shortbreads like TJ, most of the other ones I try have this aftertaste I do not like (maybe it is because of my semi-crunchiness).
And also TJ fleur de sol (caramel with sea salt can’t spell/speak French obviously). It’s in a jar and I eat it by the spoonful once in awhile it is very rich and nommy.
Listen, I am just going be what you like, I am not even giving you the TJ crack items lol

I get ya. I wish TJ had more yummy frozen lunch meals though. If you like Indian, they have a good selection but otherwise not liking their selection (or whole paycheck for that matter).

I like the indian but hate their vegan tiki masala meal. (sorry if I didn’t spell it right) It jacked up my tummy something fierce.

I wish they had better stuff in the grab and go section as well. The veggie stuff is way too healthy tasting but the calories are absurd. ABSURD for that amount of healthy food.

I wish they still had the small box subscription offer because it would be perfect for you to try. It is just enough for one person so you could sort of have them when your family isn’t paying attention. You of course would have to review them from the closet or your car (while parked in front of the grocery store)…

I think I will write them to ask if they will let us order that and I will get it for you with some credits I have (I just looked and 3 people used my link at some point!!! Score!)

The mini box isn’t available anymore? You’re so good to me 🙂

The Artistry Gifts theme box arrived on Friday. I haven’t taken pictures yet. My husband and the boys are eating the taffy when I am not looking. I told them no eating until I take pictures!!! I have 2 pieces left for pictures.

It is not available right now but maybe they can sneak you in. I will beg them via email lol I want to send you a treat plus you write great reviews so it will be good for everyone. You know how to cook and can add to reviews. I will say I am proud of the “Wallooney Toons” joke I made. My favorite stupid joke I have made all week!

Delicious! My DIY childhood recipe is putting marshmallows in the microwave for about 15 seconds. They grow really huge (Ghostbusters style) then parts start turning brown and caramelized. Eat warm, but don’t burn yourself!

OMG I have not passed by the ghostbusters phase all my life to realize the turning brown carmelization phase!!! I will try not to burn myself. Thanks 😉

Wasn’t there a trend a few years ago to put marshmallows or peeps into the microwave with toothpicks? It would make them fight or something like that. I remember doing this 4-5 years ago with my older son.
