Unusual Subscription Box Items

I came up with this idea on Thursday. I asked my teenager to take my phone and charge it. He laid it on my nightstand. I asked him why he didn’t use my cell phone holder.

The Pumped Up Phone Stand came in the now defunct Nicky Hilton Fancy Box. My older son thought it was a strange decoration.

I had to turn my cell phone around for the photo because it is reflective. I have a hot pink case because sometimes I drop my cell phone on the farm. It makes it easy to find in the grass and hay.

I think the most unusual item I ever received is the MELISSA Shoe Ornament from the Summer 2014 Nina Garcia box. The shoes were launched as collectible items designed by various architects and artists. There was a link floating somewhere on a forum that described the shoes and the stories behind each shoe.

Little Lamb was outside yesterday watching me take pictures. I have lots of pictures, but no reviews! I hope to catch up now that my husband is back from his business travels. This week was a bad week for him to be gone!

Feel free to send photos to subbellaboxes at yahoo dot com!

What is an unusual item you received in a subscription box? Does anyone remember the MELISSA shoe? Did anyone receive the Nicky Hilton Fancy box?

I’ll catch up and write to! 😉 ok I wanna huff little lamb and I don’t care who knows it! I think the nipple covers in the last Rachel Zoe box were totes odd. I’m kinda like why does she hate on neeps?

I got a super weird toothbrush in a past bulu box.

Hmmmm there has got to be more…

I think the Rosario Dawson seed pods were unusual. I agree with nipple covers from box of style, swapped those out faster than you can say, nipple.

I have been meaning to use the Rosario seed balls for my wee one to plant in a medium pot (one ball at a time). I figure since they are wildflower/weedish, they will last a little longer with our brown thumbs.
I need to pick up soil first…
Don’t look at your nips when using the Zoe nip thinges. They look alien. I used it when I wore my third trimester dress (the dress is too big for me unless I am really pregnant it was on sale back in the day at Anthro I fell in love with it) because it looked better braless. Someone wrote on MSA that the nips were good for nursing but I would not use it for nursing …. She said it was on the review comments on the actual product but I could not find it.

I must be the only one that wanted nipple covers. I have a couple soft t-shirt style shirts that don’t look right no matter what bra I try. Kelly – your comment made me laugh!

Subscriptionista – He’s sweet and adorable! I can’t believe I wasn’t able to adopt him out!! Now he is part of the family and Puss in Boots pal.

the weirdest thing about the nip covers was the suggestion to use them in your shoes. that was totally bizarre.
