Price: $6.99

What to Expect: airplane-friendly essentials

The bag
The bag

It’s not the best picture because I had to lean over to take the picture and keep my shadow out of it, and the steps were being fixed. I couldn’t use J’s flowerbed because his flowers sit up higher. The airplane-friendly bag is made out of recycled plastic bottles.

Acure repairing shampoo
Acure repairing shampoo

Acure Repairing Shampoo: I’ve written so much about Acure that I am running out of things to write. You’ll need this after flying. It’s great for dry hair. I love Acure’s suggestion to sing 80s tune while using the shampoo. Acure is made in the USA.

Will planes start to offer 80s-free flights?

Acure Repairing Conditioner
Acure Repairing Conditioner

Acure Repairing Conditioner: Whole Foods must not have gotten the memo of never offer a shampoo and conditioner together in a kit/sub box. It must not have received the email either about not offering products for curly hair. Yay, Whole Foods! Not only do we have a matching shampoo and conditioner, but it can be used on curly hair!

I’m going to rock some 80 tunes tomorrow morning!

uthentic Afican Black Soa Tangerine Citrus
Authentic African Black Soap Tangerine Citrus

Authentic African Black Soap Tangerine Citrus: This little bottle does it all. Shampoo, cleaner, body wash, hand soap, and shave soap are ways that you can use this soap. The soap is a light tan color with a slight citrus scent that is barely noticeable after rinsing. The soap is made in Olympia, WA, USA.

People will be envious of you as you quickly clean up after a long fight.

Fixing the steps
Fixing the steps

Our steps sunk in over the years.  My husband good-naturedly worked on the steps while I was a few inches away taking pictures in the flower bed. I was limited in where I could work because things were spread everywhere. This is my dog ate my homework excuse because Subscriptionista and I agreed to start the raffle on Sunday.

Does anyone think Subscriptionista will buy this as an excuse for being late? Thankfully, she is three hours behind me.

ETA: We decided to postpone the giveaway until the loose ends are wrapped-up from our first giveaways.

Tom's of Main toothpaste
Tom’s of Main toothpaste

Tom’s of Maine Simply White Clean Mint Toothpaste: It’s the only natural whitening toothpaste to earn the ADA seal. I may try it because regular whitening toothpaste causes my tongue to swell. Good thing Subscriptionista has no allergies!

Brighten up your teeth without blinding people.

Mineral Fusion Nail Polish
Mineral Fusion Nail Polish

Mineral Fusion in Blushing Crystal: I have yet to see a crystal blush. Now I know what it looks like if it did. The 4-free pale sheer pink nail polish is a safe choice for a work meeting.  It’s a cute little mini nail polish. I have yet to finish a full-size nail polish or a mini-nail polish. I need to learn how to crop pictures!

Has anyone ever finished a full-size nail polish? Is it possible?

Juice Beauty Nutrient Moisturizer
Juice Beauty Nutrient Moisturizer

Juice Beauty Nutrient Moisturizer: I want to like Juice Beauty. I really do. I find the products to be too harsh for my skin even their hand cream. The moisturizer has shea, jojoba, algae, primrose, vitamin B5 and more in it.  I did not open it to see if it had a scent because I may use it as a swap extra.

The perfect cocktail for your skin.

Coupons: I forgot to take a picture and tomorrow is the big back to school day.  There are 3 coupons $5.00 off of Juice Beauty, $5.00Nourish Advanced Facial cleaning System, and $1.00 off of Naturtint Hair Color. The coupons are Whole Foods coupons.

ETA: I wrote this Sunday night. Tomorrow refers to Monday.

Verdict: Whole Foods did a great job with the theme. All items are travel-sized and up to Whole Food standards.

No problem. I think we are having one big miscommunication that is righting itself. All is good now in our blogger universe 🙂

I’ve never finished a nail polish, even a mini. I’ve also never finished a lip gloss, other than one itty bitty mini that was a gift with purchase.

I finished one mini lipgloss. Nothing else.

I’ve never finished a nail polish either! I need to go to a Whole Foods near me to see if they still have this… In case I don’t win your raffle.

So what 80s music did you listen to? Duran Duran? Kenny Loggins? Starship? Journey? Irene Cara? NKOTB? Tiffany? Rick Astley?!?

    • August 27, 2015 at 8:29 pm

All of it except for NKOTB and much, much more. Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Guns and Roses, Aerosmith. Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Heart, Bruce Springsteen. I liked everything except hardcore heavy metal and techno music.

Yes yes!! I love all of those!!! And maybe a little heavy metal… Quiet Riot. I also didn’t listen to country but that didn’t become popular around where I live until the 90s.
