AZ Copper Creations Review – September 2015

AZ Copper Creations offers a jewelry subscription for those who want nice things, but like, not the same nice things as other people. No, you want your nice things to be unique and fit your personal preferences! After filling out a detailed profile of what you like and what you don’t like a piece of handmade jewelry should show up at your door.

Cost: $24.96/month, $71.85/3 months, $137.70/6 months, $239.40/12 months

The owner Sylvia, hand makes the creations and tries really hard to make sure you are happy! She sends out a really detailed survey when you sign up and then she checks in with you each month to make sure you are happy and to see if she can change anything up. She really tries to make people happy which is cool.

This time I asked to have a horseshoe put in my jewelry piece. When I was a little girl my father put a horseshoe on a post right next to the gate that we would leave through every day. We would all touch the horseshoe to have a lucky day. It is a nice memory I have of my father and his fun little quirks that I felt would be cool to take with me as I went about my day now.

“Me? Yeah I am lucky… how else would you explain this pretty horseshoe jewelry piece and my tuxedo cat? Not everyone has ALL of this!”

The outside of the box says that there is an oasis from the boring jewelry we always see inside!

Hammered Copper Horseshoe Cuff: I was surprised when I saw this because I was sure I would get a necklace. It is my favorite bracelet! It is totally 100% my style and it so different then anything that I have seen or own. This will be sure to start a lot of conversations wherein I will hear much praise and good things. I love that. When people notice things like this, they will think that I am quirky and cool. Not, crazy like you all actually know!

My piece was hand hammered and I am impressed by the detailing! It blows my mind that I was able to get something like this from a subscription box!!!

The fit is pretty perfect and I can unlatch the horseshoe to slip it on if I want. I wonder if I can pay extra for other attachable charms for this piece. Like what if I want a lighter horseshoe to have a mixed metal look or a whole other charm? I will have to ask her about that…

I know this is going to be a real showpiece and can even be worn with certain work clothing. I just have to let it be THE piece of the whole assemble. For instance, a plain black pencil skirt, and white blouse would showcase this well!

I will have to make sure well heeled horses don’t try to steal this from me… or my sugar cubes…

Verdict: I am so happy I took a chance on this subscription because the items made are so original and so tailored to the taste of the wearer. I can’t believe how affordable it is and how customization actually takes place. You are not going to run into someone who has the same piece, and you are going to be sent something you will treasure.

A very sweet sentimental post! Does your sister feel the same way and likes jewelry? If so, I sense a perfect holiday gift for her.

OH goodness, first of all i meant “pnut” not “pnut people” though it wouldn’t surprise me to learn she has some sort of devoted following that call themselves that :). If so, I’d like to join!!

Second of all i meant “copying” not “coping”….I’m not “coping” with your nickname lol!

What a mess of a post!

OMG no worries! I have Pnut people via my spawn (aka wee ones). I think I want to start tagging Pnut and Subista in my posts so it is easier to find us on the net… Gotta find a nickname for Sub Bella.

Cute! maybe we should get your wee ones little tees that read “pnut people”. Then i might be jealous, cuz I’ll want one too.

That idea rocks I will tell my husband that! When they all grow up to goto a huge amusement area, I had plans that I want everyone to wear the same custom printed t-shirt (of course not the same size). It is easiest and safer to have something like Pnut People #1 versus their names … or so I have been told.

My husband’s pet name is poohbear and sometimes we call our wee ones peabears (better than poohnuts)!
