Be Our Guest (Unofficial Disney) Review – August 2015

Disclosure: This box was paid for by me. There are no affiliate/referral links.

I thought that this would be a fun box for the boys. They had mixed feelings. We never been to any Disney Properties and probably never will. I’m the only one interested in visiting Disney.

Subscription: Be Our Guest

Cost: $29.95/month plus $4.95 shipping

What to Expect: Disney inspired items from authorized original Disney Licensed Distributors.

Note: September’s box is sold out. FAQ states that normally you can order the box by the 20th of the month. The box ships on the 25th.

August is their second box.

Authentic Disney Items!
Authentic Disney Items!

The first thing that came to my mind is that this box is almost perfect for two children. 2 keychains, 2 sets of stickers, 2 snacks and lots of confetti. Or perfect for two adults.

There are two keychains in the box. My little guy is excited and  likes both of them. The Mickey Mouse keychain reminds him of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse song is stuck in my head.

Snacks

Everyone wanted to know if there were snacks in the box.

It’s all about the candy.

Stickers!
Stickers!

J loves stickers. I will be wearing a few stickers on my shirt later today. There are four sheets of stickers – 2 of each kind.

My house is decorated in early preschool stickers.

I will be using the Disneyland Resort Magnetic Pad. It is bright, colorful, and cheerful. I noticed the Walt Disney World magnetic notepad is featured in the August Mickey Monthly Subscription Box.

Cue the Twilight music.

The BPA Free Molds makes ice treats. My younger son wants to try this with milk!
J has big plans for the mold. Apple Cider ice treats and milk ice treats.

Mickey Mouse Plush

Has Mickey Mouse always look this bald? J is happy with the plush. My older son wants Eeyore.

Why is it hard to find Eeyore merchandise?

I thought this was a nice touch.

Verdict: It was nice to try as a one-time box, but my family isn’t the right audience for a continued subscription. I wasn’t able to find links to the products. The items are authentic and come with price stickers and tags.  J enjoyed this box. T didn’t want to me to cancel September’s box in case there was an Eeyore item.

Those ice treat molds look fun! Awesome for your son to think of milk pops. I think I may be able to get my wee ones to mom milk pops too that we usually use OJ. Great suggestion from him!

Went over well. She shared and it took the whole day for her to Finnish it. She liked it but if it was sugar it would have been gone fast lol! This would make a nice morning treat maybe I can be all fancy and add it to milk and cereal for breakfast. The today show a couple of weeks ago said that ice cubes in cereal with milk was trending to keep the milk ice cold.
BTW September Popsugar spoilers on MSA

I’m glad she liked it! My little guy loved his popsicle creations.

          Wouldn’t watery milk taste yucky?

I should had bought the box!! I love it!!!

Eeyore is a favorite of mine too. Cute box and Disney mania is insane here in LA.

I can’t imagine it. I don’t think I did the box justice. The memo pad is a Disney Park item. I think that means it’s an amazing item because it can be bought only inside the parks. I could be wrong.

Hmm, this looks like a box that my sister-in-law would love for my nephew. I’d like to see another review if you get next month’s box. In any case, the Disney Store carries a few Eeyore items.
