IRL: What Candle are you Burning

Disclosure: There are no referral/affiliate links in this post. I paid for the candle.

This day is one of those days! I tried a couple times to sit down and spend time on the blog.

Kai nightlight fragrance candle: The made-in-the-USA candle is paraben-free, sulftate-free, and cruelty-free. The candle is a blend of soy, palm, and coconut wax. The candle came in my July Burke Decor Home Box.

Sorry, readers, posting isn’t going to happen tonight. I’ll be back tomorrow. Sometimes farming is 24/7.

Enjoy that candle it’s very nice. I still have not re-signed up for Burke Box and I feel iffy about it. They should have a candle only sub and respond to emails while at it.

On the other hand, I am not missing BB after seeing the PYS this month. I might not sign up with a mega holiday deal since they are now sampling Estée Lauder Branded items.

Hope you have a restful sleep 🙂

I hear you on BirchBox. I’m not selecting anything because I don’t use mascara. I decided that the mega holiday deal needs to be absolutely amazing, or the box price needs to come to $7.00 a month = $84.00 for a yearly sub. I doubt that will happen. BB introduced me to different brands, but now I am ready to break up.

I did have a restful sleep! How are you doing with sleep?

      The Kai candle smells wonderful.

Doing good I think the easiest time are when they are little bugs on their back. Newborn is very good sleeper lucked out. Feed, poop, sleep with the usual witching hour to round it out! Figuring NOW that the sling works well for that hour wished I knew for my older wee ones!

I’m working from home today and burning a candle I bought from Kohls – the brand is Sonoma Life+Style and the scent is Fresh-Cut Tulips. I think it’s just a “regular” wax / paraffin though. I bought it before I started looking into the benefits of soy and other candles… oh well. It smells ok.

I’m going to burn a candle later today.

Oooh – I just ordered one of these candles from Burke Decor on sale. Please tell me it’s as nice as they say!

It is! But now that I have seen Burke Decor unload excess inventory on its subscribers I am not resubbing.

The little black and white vase that was in one of the boxes was on the sale page as well. I think they’re definitely unloading. I’m a little annoyed with them – I ordered one of the additional August boxes (with the grey throw) back on Sept 2 but it’s still listed as unfulfilled. Any day now, guys!!

I don’t know what is up with Burke Decor. Where is Melinda? She’s very nice. I spoke to her on the phone before.

I wasn’t enjoying my Tulip candle candle so I just switched to a wonderful Lilac candle from Flicker Box – I thought it was soy but I just looked and see that it’s soy & beeswax! I had no idea I already owned a (partial) beeswax candle – now I love it even more. 🙂

Yay! Lilac is a great scent.

Heat what did you think of those links I gave for the 100% beeswax candles? Did you find anything more economical? I want to make an order but I am fuzzy with number crunching.

Yes, thanks! I looked at your links and found a couple of others. I was more browsing than number crunching bc I’m not ready to purchase yet, but I think the prices all seemed in line with each other. I can do a more thorough comparison soon!
