I ordered 2 apparel items during the Modcloth Stylish Surprise Sale. Modcloth holds two surprise sales a year. Prices for the now-over September Sale: Dresses $20.00, Apparel $15.00, Shoes $10.00. My apparel items arrived on the 19th with the other items I ordered. Subscriptionista and Heat7918 are a tough act to follow!
Soieblu Embellished Top Size Large: The dry-clean only, 100% polyester shirt looks innocent on the hanger.
The very top part of the blouse looks nice on me. The shirt does not sit correctly on my chest and is see-through. It’s the type of shirt that should be worn braless. I would need implants because things don’t sit as high as they did in the past. Although I don’t know how that would work because it is see through. I wore a heavy-duty bra and played with the lighting to keep myself from flashing our readers!
The back dips down low. My husband thought that that the shirt was unfinished. Notice how the flowers can be seen through the top.
The folds are not layers of fat! It is the style of the shirt. Subscriptionista is inspiring me to tone up my arms. Check her toned arms here. It’s the type of shirt I would had worn years ago to a club if I could figure out how not to show all my goodies.
Poema Long-Sleeve Top: Poema is a Romanian brand that is found in online boutiques. The very top part is a little tight. My girls wanted to burst through the top opening.
The detailing is pretty.
The made in China shirt is 56% rayon, 46% polyester and can be hand-washed in cold water.
Verdict: X-Large was sold out when I placed my order. I took a chance with the large. I need to be exercising again!!! ModCloth Stylish Surprise Sale is for the adventurous. The apparel items did not work out this time although I loved the apparel item I received in the March sale. That’s how it works out with the Modcloth Stylish Surprise sales.

First – great clothing reviews ladies. I think it makes it much easier to know what to expect from the various clothing subscriptions with IRL photos. So, thank you!
