My review is of the Mojo Box!

This month the theme is “Prosperity.” While prosperity could mean money, it can also mean abundance and good health. I am all for that! Weirdly the first thing I imagined was sitting in a room full of cats, all of them were apart of my Great Cat Army.

Green Aventurine Dragon: This dragon represents luck and prosperity. It is also really cute! My job can sometimes lead me to keep “digging the same ditch” and get into a rut. This does not lead to success nor does it make my work any fun. I try to have fun every single day. It is good to sometimes break patters and have the courage to try something new or even insight new insight into your day to day activities.

I decided to keep mine in my car since I have to drive a lot for work and to each appointment so it is a reminder to be mindful of my goals, it looks cute, and hopefully brings me a little luck!

I think Pnut should name him for some reason. I keep wanting to call him “Hippo the Dragon” which doesn’t make any sense at all!

Gold Tiger Eye (2): Many believe that this stone helps to manifest ideas into realities. I personally believe that these stones and crystals are great reminders for each intention they represent. In the ritual or meditation included these stones get covered with peppermint oil, and you can place them somewhere like your wallet or where ever you want to attract your intention of abundance or prosperity.

I have kept these in my work bag that I carry to every appointment. When I feel like the interaction I am going to have isn’t going to go well, or I just want to get the whole thing over with I can either touch the stones or sometimes even just smell the peppermint and it reminds me of what I set out to do for the day. That alone has helped me the past few days to go the extra mile at work!  Plus I smell good! Yay!

Is it bad I want to put these into a bracelet?

Selenite Bowl: How nice is this little bowl?!? It holds my crystals perfectly, and the bowl itself is heavy and really cool in person. I like having a little place to put my intentions next to me while I sleep. It was really thoughtful that Christina included this item and speaks to the thoughtful duration of the box.

Selenite is names after the moon in Greek, I suppose I could fill this with baklava and not be mad about it!

Now that we have gone through most of the items let’s take a look at the ritual items!

Candle, Holder, and Peppermint

Selenite Bowl with Tiger Eyes
Tiger Eyes are also used!

Green Chime Candle, Holder, and Peppermint Oil to be used for the Ritual:  Cristina posts a video every month where she goes through the box and also shows you how to use the items. I suggest everyone go take a look and see it all in action!

I know some of us are religious so I want to stress there is no weird stuff going on here and if you are uncomfortable with the idea of “ritual” then “meditation” might be a better fit. I am Catholic and was in a sorority, so rituals and meditations are something I am comfortable with. This one was easy compared to most of the ones I have had to do!

My personal experience was really good and after doing it I felt more focused and calm because my focus for where I was going to put my energy and what I expected to get out of it was clear. I have had increasing anxiety as I have grown older. I am not sure why it is, but it can make me so stressed I just sorta quit doing anything. I will space out. Taking a little time to get focused and decide what I want and where my energy is going helps calm me.

Once I covered the candle in oil, lit it, focused, and blew it out, I covered the stones with the peppermint oil from the candle. Then I set about my day with my dragon and stones! After having this a week I can honestly say I have had some great wins. I really enjoyed taking the special time out to really think and see what I wanted and then have that goal as a reminder (represented by the stones) to help me get the energy to actually put the work in to bring my intentions/goals to life.

And THAT is how Subscriptionista finally got her Great Cat Army!

Verdict: I am really glad I was given the opportunity to try Mystical Mojo Box a try. It took me a bit longer to review this box because the items really have to be used to get a true feel for what it is all about. A simple unboxing with snap judgement wasn’t gonna cut it.

The value in the products themselves was surprisingly good. Each item is substantial and quality. I also see a lot of value in the curation. Mystical Mojo Box makes putting mindfulness into practice very accessible. I have seen benefits and really had a fun time trying everything out!

Disclosure: I was sent this box (I paid for shipping) in exchange for an honest review!

This is a great review! It gave a lot of information about things that are unfamiliar to me. I’m glad that you found comfort in the items. Hippo the Dragon is perfect!

I forgot that I had a clever retort that your hands should be wet if you were wrestling with a bear ::)

I’m logging off now. People don’t need to find the review. It’s my third negative review in the past couple of days. I’m going to be voted off the island soon.

Thanks I am not sure whether Scratchy Pox Monkey Dragon that poops shiny Gold Tiger Eyes in its Selenite Toilet Bowl can top Hippo The Dragon.

We have to keep the riff raff out! 😉

      riff·raff
      noun
      disreputable or undesirable people.
“I don’t think they talk to riffraff off the street”
synonyms: rabble, scum, good-for-nothings, undesirables, lowlifes, hoi polloi, lowest of the low, peasants
“this government considers its citizens riffraff and is quick to silence the mere whispers of dissent”

ITA there was this family board I would stalk but never posted and when a Shiller posted and the mothers would shriek back posting “SHILLER” “NOT THE SHILLING” “NO SHILLING SHILLER”
We should do something like that with the Riffraffers!

Did anyone catch the Dora reference?

I don’t watch Dora but I DO watch We Bare Bears. You didn’t ask but I am telling!

My cousins kid watches Dora and I didn’t catch it until I saw it. There is a character called Swiper who swipes. My cousin explained to me when her daughter kept saying “Swiper no swiping”. So because I never posted I it took me awhile but of course after I found out, some posted on the board what was the inside reference :p

          • September 18, 2015 at 11:16 am

I did, but I am late to the game. My older son still likes Dora.

What a great review! Thanks for taking the time to use the products before you reviewed rather than posting the contents. Question though: doesn’t your cat knock over little things like that cute bowl? I hope your kitty is/ will be ok!

      September 19, 2015 at 9:11 am

Thanks Artemis! I’m still waiting to hear more about my cat but am hopeful. I keep my moon bowl by my bed where she may knock it off but doesn’t ever. I find her drinking water from my cup more sigh…

She might do more of that stuff when she gets more energy. Though it has been weird to wake up and see her just drinking from my water glass like it was her bowl or something. Umm how long as she been doing this I wonder?
