I was in J’s summer flower garden when I caught a blur of brown go past my foot. It startled me.
Anyone remember this little guy? He’s been hanging around the yard.
Fall flowers are coming! The Pop Beauty Bright Up Your Life Sugar Plum Trio was the PYS I hoped to avoid. I don’t use eye makeup or makeup items manufactured in China. It is designed in the USA.
I still don’t want it even if it is designed in the USA. Nice try, Birchbox.
The praying mantis is brown because the weather has been dry. I don’t know if it is a tall tale or true.
The fall flowers need to be planted so off to a new locale. I added Golden Rod to the blueberry bush for a pop of color. The blueberry bush leaves turn red in the fall.
Davines Love Shampoo and Conditioner: I selected Davines to avoid the eye shadow. My strategy failed. I love how they list the farm on the packaging.
There’s no fooling Birchbox.
Malin + Goetz Grapefruit Face Cleanser: The made in USA Cleanser was created to help Matt Malin’s rosacea. I will give it a try.
I’m amazed by all the beauty lines created by Roscacea sufferers.
Malin + Goetz Vitamin E Face Moisturizer: A certain someone that was helping me did not believe me when I said Birchbox included this in the box. I’m fine with the foil because it is a bonus.
Birchbox can send me as many foils as they want as long as they count as bonuses. I’ll take them all.
Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Sensitive Strength: I find Juice Beauty to be harsh on my skin. I may give this a try and pass it on to my sister if it doesn’t work for me.
My sister hasn’t bought a beauty product since I started buying beauty boxes.
English Laundry: I find the parfum to be pleasant. The opening notes are white chocolate and jasmine.
How do the English make their laundry smell like white chocolate?

You & I are Birchbox twins this month!! Although I wanted the POP eye shadow and I love the colors! – didn’t realize it was made in China but that won’t stop be from using it. I try not to purposely buy products from China but if I get them… I won’t give them away or throw them away if I can use it.

It was a close call. The baggu was almost in his hand.

…as the sun was dipping below the tree line. My teen helped me because we lost light in 15 minutes. The colors were pretty and worked well with the outdoor floral. My little guy grew the pumpkin.
I like the outdoor pictures better than the indoor pictures. I have poor lighting in my house. It always looks dark in my pictures regardless what I do.
I love the praying mantis pictures. So zen.
