I opened up my Dottiebox and pulled out item after item. I knew it was too many to be the Dottiebox Mini. Dottiebox responded quickly to my email. I was shipped a regular box by mistake and could keep the box. She also stated that I would receive my Dottiebox Mini. I was prepared to send the box back! Thank you, Dottiebox, for your generosity in allowing me to keep the box and send out the mini box.

I see a company listed that is receiving lots of love on the blog! I apologize for the lighting.

All the items!
All the items!

I did not know the one bud was leaning over until after I took the picture. I struggle to light the picture properly so no retakes.

Kern & Flourish Fly Me to the Moon Print
Kern & Flourish Fly Me to the Moon Print

Kern & Flourish Fly Me to the Moon Print:  The inspiration for the print is none other than Sinatra himself. I love what their about says about needing love and emotion. It’s so true that you need love and emotion.  I’m going to see if my sister wants this print for her bedroom. She’s redecorating it this winter.

I’m ready for bed.

Starlooks Eyeliner
Starlooks Eyeliner

Starlooks Pro Luxe Longwear Eyeliner Pen: I half-heartedly tried to remove the wrapper to do a swatch.  It has a felt tip making the pen easier to be used.

I have no clue why it is in the box.

Broken Record Boutique Key Necklace
Broken Record Boutique Key Necklace

Broken Record Boutique Key Necklace:  The Savannah, GA, USA artist sells most of her jewelry at craft fairs and festivals. The silver key pendant is on an 18″ Sterling Silver .925 Chain.

Records are popular!

The Sudsy Soapary Guest Bar Soap
The Sudsy Soapery Guest Bar Soap

The Sudsy Soapery Guest Bar Soap:  The Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey goatmilk soap has a subtle honey scent.  The St. Louis, MO company has a cute story about the founding of the company. They are also getting a head jump on Black Friday sales by announcing their sale already. It will be held on November 27th. The shop will be 50% off for 24 hours. Camilla the Hen told me when Subscriptionista wasn’t looking that Subscriptionsta is going to post all kinds of Black Friday deals on the website when it’s time.

I placed the guest bar soap in the bathroom. I poked around the website and found a bar that is irresistible. The spearmint and lavender soap looks like a piece of art. It’s a beautiful soap. Dottiebox provided a coupon in case I could not wait until Black Friday to go shopping.

ETA: I linked to the bulk soap. The bulk soap is $34.95 and be cut into 10 3/4 bars and one small size bar. That would be quite a bargain on Black Friday if it is listed on the website at the time of sale. Thanks Heat7918 for letting me know.

The goats are staging a comeback!

Fancy Paperie Stationary Sample
Fancy Paperie Stationary Sample

Fancy Paperie Stationary Sample: No hating on Dottiebox for including stationary. The stationary sample is a bonus with no price associated to it on the information card. The NJ, USA company has interesting designs such as The Raven and the Skull Stationary Set, Woodland Fox Stationary Set, and an adorable black cat postcard set.

The stationary is almost too pretty to be used.

Plum Deluxe Loose Leaf Tea
Plum Deluxe Loose Leaf Tea

Plum Deluxe Apricot/Lavender “Vista Blend” Herbal Tea: We have lots of love for Plum Deluxe Tea. Read all about the love i Subscriptionista’s Plum Deluxe Tea Review. Not a tea lover? It’s OK because Plum Deluxe Tea came up with 42 ways to use loose tea including in cat toys, alcohol, and my personal favorite which is painting with tea. I am going to have to give the painting and some of the other suggestions a try after sampling the tea. Or maybe save the suggestions for another tea if this tastes delicious. I’m a little unsure about the apricot taste.

I love how an Oregon company uses Oregon Lavender!

Business cards
Business cards

Dottiebox does not want you to walk away feeling unsatisfied when you find a favorite. There are business cards and discounts galore included in the box. Not all are included in the photo.

Verdict: I enjoy my Dottieboxes. There’s always a great mixture of items. I’m impressed with their customer service! I can’t wait to see what is arriving in October’s box. Dottiebox sends out a list of vendors. One will be Posh Skincare!!!

HAHAHA Damn that Camilla the Hen always giving away secrets! Save this sale to add in the non box sub sale but featured in boxes sale. I think we will make the Wiki really fun. Still, Camilla is always telling you things!

The necklace is cute but I feel like I have seen something like it in a box… I dunno,

Soap is awesome. Goats are gearing up for some drama I can FEEL it.

YAY Plum Deluxe! I am thinking about infusing some vodka with some tea and making fancy cocktails I can drink while watching Heroes. I need SOMETHING to Instagram for our website lol

Oh no. Not our Instagram! I’ll be checking it tomorrow to see the results. Didn’t FFF do a key necklace? Or maybe it was PopSugar? Wait until you see September’s Serendipity. One of the brands is run by the goats. They are back!

LLB has been bothered by goats for a long time. They probably have to play nice with the goats or they will cause a boat strike again. You know how the goats syndicate is. Once they have you under hoof your pretty much owned.

        I can’t wait to read!

You need to watch out for those photobombing buds.

That spearmint and Lavendar soap you linked to is gorgeous but first I was like ” no way I’d pay $35 for a bar of soap!!” And then I looked closer and saw that it’s a brick that they can cut into 10 (3/4 inch) bars so that makes more sense and is probably a good deal. But I like trying different soaps too much and this brick would last me over a year! However, I saw that they make a liquid soap and a candle in that same yummy-sounding scent… It’s going on my ever growing list of soaps and candles that I want to try, but I’m not allowed to buy until I use up more of what I already have. 🙂

Heat – thank you for letting me know. It’s been a bad week at my house 🙁 I updated the review so there is no confusion.

Soap never lasts long in my house especially if a 7 year old gets ahold of it.

Oohhh I’ve been trying to swap for that print and my true coveted item, a Turkish towel, but the swapper isn’t making up her mind so I may just buy this box!

Also did you read all the stuff on MSA about that eyeliner? I liked it when I got it at first bc I had no idea eyeliner could come with a felt tip, but it dried out quickly and doesn’t cover very well. Apparently it’s some company that just keeps changing and repackaging.

    • October 20, 2015 at 8:47 pm

Yes, I did read about the eyeliner. I thought about looking into it further and never did. The Starlooks sub has been around for a few years. I would not be surprised that the makeup is made by a company that makes makeup for other companies.
