Dreary Weather
Dreary Weather 3:30 pm 10/14/15

It was 3:30 on Wednesday when I decided to work on the blog. I couldn’t decide to post an old review or take pictures of my Goodebox. Goodebox emailed me to let me know there was a delay in shipping the box because they were waiting for a product that was being made fresh for the box. My mail finally showed up at 6:45 pm Tuesday with my Goodebox in it.

I checked with my photography assistant, Zelda, who decided that dreary weather meant kitty nap time.  The sticker on the chair matches the stickers on my table.

There used to be stickers on the wall too.

EO Hand Sanitizer spray Coconut + Lemon
EO Hand Sanitizer spray Coconut + Lemon

EO Hand Sanitizer Spray Coconut & Lemon: The made in the USA spray is 99.9% effective against most common germs. I live in a state that allows you to pump your gas. Hand Sanitizer is a must after touching the gas pump! It’s non-gmo verified and gluten-free. The scent is predominately coconut with a light lemon scent. I did not notice an alcohol scent.

The Sanitizer is perfect to use on a field trip when your child wants to eat a snack and has cow drool all over his hands.

My Konjac Sponge
My Konjac Sponge

My Konjac Sponge Face:  Subscription boxes find me sponge worthy. The made-in-Korea sponge is great for very sensitive skin. There is a video that you can watch to learn how to use the sponge. The sponge is hypo-allergenic and fragrance-free.

Watch the video! Use your products!!! Don’t let them sitting there being pretty and having nowhere to go.

The tail is for hanging purpose.

Insert joke here. I know you have one 🙂

Lillian Eve Nourishing Cuticle Oil: I’m not showing my nails because I can’t tell if my cuticles look good or bad. I don’t do anything to them unless I have an oil to apply from a subscription box.

My name is Sub Bella. I do not push back or cut my cuticles. I will now hang my head in shame.

I did figure out that you turn the top and that allows the 4-ingredient liquid come out through the brush. I will keep it at my computer desk and apply it while thinking of something witty to write. Lillian Eve had a subscription box that was discontinued in August of 2015 to focus more on retail expansion and seasonal collections. Lillian Eve is made in the USA.

I’m going to spend the rest of the night staring at my cuticles while soaking in the tub.

My children know how to make their beds. They don’t do it. I decided that Little Lamb was too cute to disturb.

Little Lamb is adorable.

Juice Beauty Reflecting Gloss Champagne
Juice Beauty Reflecting Gloss Champagne

Juice Beauty Reflecting Gloss Champagne: I was unhappy to see the lip gloss in my box. I received the lip gloss in the October 2014 Limited Edition Breast Cancer Fund  Goodebox.  I went on a retreat shortly after receive the LE box last year and gamely tried out all three Juice Beauty Reflecting Glosses including the Champagne Gloss. I still don’t like the lip gloss.

I do think it beautifully matches Puss in Boot’s fur.

Lip Gloss Swatch

I applied the lip gloss heavily to my skin. The color does not look good on my lips.

I read the ingredient label. It is the equivalent of putting a fruit salad on your lips!

Puss in Boots slept away while I took the lip gloss picture. Juice Beauty is made in the USA.

All cats ignored me while I took pictures.

Hamadi Organics Shea Spray
Hamadi Organics Shea Spray

Hamadi Organics Shea Spray: The made in Canada spray offers a pleasant rosemary aroma. The spray is a de-frizzer and protects your hair from the sun which begets why receive the spray in the fall. It’s going to snow at the farm this weekend!!! The sun reflects off the snow damaging colored hair.

You will get the most use out of the spray if you are at the beach during a snowstorm.

Goodebox included a coupon to receive a free PDF copy of Well Being Journal.

Verdict: Goodebox did an excellent job in selecting items free of ingredients that I am trying to avoid. I did not spend as much time writing about that in this review because it did not fit in with the sleepy kitties. I look forward to using all the products except for the Juice Beauty Lip Gloss.

Great products and review. I love the sponges you gave me thank you for finding me sponge worthy! Adorable snoozy kitties and I also love how you used a kitty as a backdrop! I relate totally to the sticker placement issue.

My firstborn wasn’t like that. My second child feels the need to sticker everything. Even now he will give me stickers to put on my shirt.

My Goodebox went on a tour this month. It was set for delivery 10 days ago, but the post office decided I was an imposter and sent my box back to them. Goodebox turned around and shipped it back to me and I got it today.

I got the same hand sanitizer but in peppermint and citrus, I love peppermint and this will be great for work. Got a red sponge suitable for dry or mature skin….. Geez way to make me feel OLD 🙂 I also got the cuticle oil.

My differences were the final two things, I got Davids premium natural toothpaste, we will see – 100% natural USA farmed mint oil flavoring – sounds enticing. My lip gloss is bonnie nourishing ultra shine lip gloss, need to go find the ingredients but I love the color (garnet).

I think the Mint conspiracy was out in force for this box, but I love it so am happy. But that means they will go find someone else to bug next month….

    • October 20, 2015 at 8:53 pm

I love mint. The mint conspiracy can visit my boxes anytime. I hope life is calming down for you. I miss your comments!

Oh thank you! It seems like it is trying to calm down a bit. I have tried to keep up with this board, just haven’t had time to figure out which end is up. 🙂 Daughter is back and school and (almost) adjusted to the major change. They can give me anything with mint

Heh, just found out the toothpaste comes with a metal key thing that you can use to flatten the tube as you go.
