Walmart Beauty Box sends samples of everyday products brought right to your door. I was surprised to get mine because I did not update my credit card info on the site. I guess sometimes we don’t find the boxes, the boxes find us.
Walmart Beauty Box is $5 and it is supposed to come seasonally (winter, spring, summer, and fall) but in reality it shows up when it feels like it. The good is that it is a low investment box, you can easily buy the products that you like, and it is fun to get something in the mail. The cons are that this box sends many different samples out so you may get box envy, the products are not fancy, and the value of it is low. I continue to get it because they continue to send it.
I have been a bit behind on Ye Olde Boxes, so I decided to do a short review of this one so you can at least take a peak and see what they decided to send on over to Subscriptionista’s place:
Schick – Hydro Silk Disposible Razor: Says it is “Free” but I did pay for the box sooo… This razor has FIVE blades. Why on earth would we need so many?!?
This seems dangerous enough to keep on your bedside table to fend off intruders…
Aussie – Mega Hairspray: Claims 24 hours of flexible hold. I guess we should try to look good in our dreams!
The directions are hilarious: “It’s hairspray! Spray it on your hair!”
Caress – Body Wash (Adore Forever): Caress always has the silliest names for scents. Still this could come in handy.
Why don’t they make a “Cat Huff” or “Midnight and Drinking Alone” scents? Ya know, for ladies like me.
Aveeno – Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30: This is clinically proven to even out skin so I should be like a canvas come winter!
Sunscreens seem to be so in right now!
ACT – Advanced Care Mouthwash: I would not be surprised if my cat slipped this in the box to get me back for saying she has bad breath in a few posts.
Made in Canada… International conspiracy?
Dove – Beauty Finish Deodorant: I love Dove Clinical. It keeps me so dry I could light a match using my underarms in 90 degree heat! So I was happy to try this out. The scent is light and it didn’t have me stinkin’ up the joint.
48 hr protection might seem like a gross idea, but I have forgotten to put deodorant on before work so many times it could be a life saver!
Neutrogena – Healthy Volume Mascara: Like sunscreen you must have mascara in every beauty box or the world will fall off of its axis plunging us into chaos and washed out eye make up.
Healthy Volume? I wonder what product gives lashes unhealthy volume?
*Foil Samples* with Nivea lotion, Crest Professional Polish, a Biore mask, and Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer. I have been actually wanting to try the Wet Skin for awhile now. I will report if it works.
Verdict: This is worth the $5 I paid. I saw that other people got better boxes with more stuff in them and feel a little slighted. Come on Walmart, don’t be the ones to throw me into a pit of despair and box envy!

Great review I like your box! I remember the Biore heating masks! I always felt refreshed after using it. Such a good brand if I did not have a million masks I would seriously go drugstore for this. I need to get Biore nose strips. Dove clinical rocks great backup for purse, pouch, carry on, etc. Razor blade numbers are getting redic! Sometimes I need directions on using hairspray lol. I want a newborn head huff scent!

My sister received both the old and young boxes. She had tons of stuff in her boxes. I was amazed! Keep sending mascara. We can’t have the world fall of its axis.
I got the 34 year old box and I still got less than others!!! But it’s not like I need more lol
Hahaha, I’m glad I’m not the only one who sometimes forgets her deodorant! I keep a mini like that hidden in a desk drawer just in cases! (I used to keep one in my car, but then I moved to Florida and had to clean melted deodorant out of my glove compartment)
I really should keep one in the car. I had some natural stuff j. A sample jar but the smell was way too … Hippie for me…

I once had a 5 blader (cvs brand) an actually really liked it. Then i couldn’t find refills and never really bothered to make the effort to look further. But I agree, the blade intensity of the razor game is getting serious!

Yeah razors aren’t playing around! I have pretty sparse fur so one blade is enough. My legs are never smooth because I always get as I dry off and BAM stubble.
I used to get the hag box. The first box was pretty good – I discovered the Secret clinical deodorant which I have since purchased on my own. The second one was awful so I cancelled. Your box isn’t terrible! I should go find some reviews of the old lady box.
I don’t know how they break up ages but so many other girls got serums and lipstick plus whatever I got. I mean whatever I don’t need it but box envy is always so strong in our world!
