It looks like a yummy breakfast is in store for us.

Stonewall Kitchen Wild Main Blueberry Jam
Stonewall Kitchen Wild Maine Blueberry Jam

Stonewall Kitchen Wild Maine Blueberry Jam: We received this in a New England Sack before, and it was well liked. We have two mature blueberry bushes and 12 blueberry bushes that are 3-5 years old at our main residence. I still don’t have enough blueberries to make jam! The expiration date is July 27, 2017. It is made in Maine.

There’s a reason why the jam is a best-seller. It’s bluelicious!

Stonewall Kitchen Wild Maine Blueberry Syrup
Stonewall Kitchen Wild Maine Blueberry Syrup

Stonewall Kitchen Wild Main Blueberry Syrup: I placed the Blueberry Syrup against a young blueberry plant. It’s a nice treat to receive a different type of syrup in a subscription box. My family can’t wait to try out the blueberry syrup. It can also be put on top of icecream! It expires June 26, 2017.

Does ice cream count as a healthy food if you serve it with blueberry syrup?

Stonewall Blueberry Batter Bowl
Stonewall Blueberry Batter Bowl

Stonewall Kitchen Battered Bowls Textured: This bowl is much larger than what I pictured from the spoiler picture. It has a seven quart capacity. The spout makes for easy pouring.

Broken handle
Broken handle

It did not survive the USPS delivery system. it also had tape on it.

Wrapped in bubblewrap
Wrapped in bubble wrap

The bowl was wrapped securely in bubble wrap.  Artistry Gifts handled the situation quickly.

It’s dishwasher safe, but not USPS safe in my neck of the woods.

B. Witching Bath Co Banana But Scrub
B. Witching Bath Co Banana But Scrub

B. Witching Bath Co Banana Nut Scrub: I’ve always loved baking. I used to bake banana nut bread from scratch for my family back in high school. It was a challenge because I can’t stand banana nut bread. I will be giving this scrub to my sister tomorrow. She is going to love it as much as I hate it. Sorry, I could not even bring myself to open the scrub and smell it. The scrub fits in well with the theme.

Finally, a scrub I won’t use.

Stonewall Kitchen Spoonula
Stonewall Kitchen Spoonula

Stonewall Kitchen Green Spoonula: The Spoonula is different from the Stonewall Medium Red Spatula in the Artistry Gift’s October Theme Box. It is curved instead of flat. It’s dishwasher safe, stain resistant and can withstand heat up to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.  It is made in China.

More kitchen toys!

Stonewall Pancake Mix
Stonewall Pancake Mix

Stonewall Kitchen Farmhouse Pancake & Waffle Mix:  The pancake mix is one of my family’s favorites.  The boys wanted me to make pancakes right at that very moment. The mix makes delicious pancakes! It expires December 10, 2016.

Pancakes are a way to my heart.

ETA – It looks like I forgot to post the candle picture.

B Witching Company
B Witching Company Apple Cider Candle

B. Witching Co Apple Cider Soy Candle: The soy candle candle has a zinc free wick. It has a light apple and cinnamon scent.
It smells like fall!

Verdict: The family is happy with the box. Artistry Gifts quickly took care of the broken bowl. The food items are a big hit and kitchen utensils are always welcomed. My sister can’t wait to use the body scrub. I’m looking forward to the next box. The deluxe/special editions make a great gift. They are well-curated boxes!

Artistry Gifts La Mer Special Edition Box: I remember J’s excitement over this box. The picture frame, pot holder, and flip-flop hooks are in J’s room as beach decor. I finished the Inis lotion awhile ago and used the shower gel every so often. The soap is at the farm. I gave a couple of taffys to my sister and the rest to the boys. I’ve been using the oven mitt.

Is the plural of taffy – taffy, taffies, taffys?

    Very good bluelicious review!

Sorry you missed out on the body scrub scent I know you love your scrubs. I am sure you will hear from your sister about you make the best banana nut bread and whether you can make it again!

Question: Do you know anything about making banana bread look veiny? Hawaiian banana bread looks veiny. Everytime I ask I am told older bananas needed to be used. I am thinking maybe it is just the ?strain? of banana not available in the mainland. I know your not a fan of the bread but maybe you have the secret answer because I am under the impression that veiny banana bread is the best kind of banana bread!

Pnut, strainy banana bread sounds really weird. Also… I am intrigued. I keep bananas till they’re almost all black, then peel and freeze them. My mom has this amaaaaaazing banana pudding cake [bananas, yellow cake mix, and vanilla pudding mix] that she made me for my birthday as a kid, and I either save bananas for those or my Banana Banana bread recipe from All Recipes.

Subbella, I was doing my mall walking on Monday and saw the Stonewall jam at Macy’s. Was tempted to buy, but decided I still have two fig jams to finish. Also, I am convinced your sister and I are secretly the same person. The banana scrub sounds amazing!

Pnut – I haven’t made banana bread in years. I know that we are pushing most other types of bananas to extinction because of our preference for the common banana (not sure of the proper name) found in stores.

Onderria – They say that everyone has a twin 🙂

it is called the cavendish. panama disease wiped out the primary cultivar of the banana about 65 years ago. unfortunately a strain has surfaced that has threatened to wipe out the cavendish. bananas reproduce asexually and usually the entire giant crop of every farm is genetically identical.

this is what you get when i am sick and refusing to work. banana sex.

Banana sex fits with our blog!

banana sex DOES fit with your blog. i came back because i was working on a wine post, then i started thinking about grape sex. i feel better, still sick. the kids are very sick and my flight got cancelled and now i won’t be home until after bedtime tomorrow 🙁

I’m still waiting on mine…apparently some of the bowls arrived broken so they are waiting on a new shipment. Fortunately, its a Christmas gift (and one which I will insist be opened on Christmas Eve and used on Christmas morning…nothing like gifts with ulterior motives!)

Bad Kitty – I hope yours arrive safely. I’m sorry that you have to wait. That is a great idea about opening it on Christmas Eve.

I just got the shipping notice – yay! We do lots of Christmas gifts in my family, and always open some on Christmas Eve, so I’m sure I can nudge this one Mom’s way. 😉
