Beauty DNA Subscription Review – November 2015

Beauty DNA – the subscription I cannot seem to shake – offers the most customization of any beauty subscription you can possibly sign up for. I mean this in every sense of the word. When you sign up you will be given what can only be called a midterm exam full of questions about what you like, what you want, what you don’t want, and all the ingredients that you will accept and not accept.

I remember when I first came across this subscription. About halfway through the questions I KNEW this subscription would be better for Sub Bella. I am pretty easy going when it comes to ingredients and I am only now starting to understand how many weird things I have been slathering on my skin in the name of beauty.

I ended up getting a month or two of the subscription but decided to give the rest of my months over to Sub Bella because as I said before, she could actually make good use of such a subscription. Then my sister saw a sale on it, and signed me up as a surprise. So… I will give it go, and if I feel like it is not getting good use then poor Sub Bella will have to take it over yet again…

If customization is important to you, if you can’t just slap on whatever you are sent then you pretty much HAVE to try out this subscription. It is for you. It is impossible NOT to be.

Cost: $25 a month/free shipping

Babor Multi Vitamin!

Inside!

Babor – Multi Vitamin Fluid: This is supposed to help my super dry skin become hydrated and youthful again. Oh to be young and well hydrated! It has Vitamins A, B5, E (which looks better than any report card I have ever received), biotin, and algae. All of which should get me some of those lipids everyone is talking about!

The ampules are fun idea! I have to travel for Thanksgiving week and so I can bring this along on my carry on. Flights contribute to my dry skin, so this is timely as it is needed! I can’t believe that it has only been in the last year or so that I have felt wild enough to try oils on my face. I will never look back!

I first thought little Babar the Elephant had started his own cosmetics company!

Verdict: I like this month but am unsure if I love it. The value to me wasn’t mind blowing. It is only a week’s worth of product and even though it is full size I like something that lasts a little longer for my money. It did fit my rather broad criteria, and honestly if I were more picky on ingredients this subscription would be one of the better values out there.

I have fallen in love with Air Repair moisturizer for pre and post flight. Even The Mister has started requesting it to slather on when he gets off the plane. IN LOVE I SAY.

I got this same thing from Beauty DNA over the summer! I was actually able to get 2-3 uses out of each ampoule… But maybe I’m a weird product hoarder? As I recall, both types are scented but was stinkier than the other – didn’t take super long to fade though. Not sure I noticed any big benefits but then again, I rarely do.

I kept thinking of Babar the Elephant too! Enjoy.

LOL Heat! I think I will get more uses out of it if I try. I am trying to get a good pile of empties but I swear even the smallest bottles have a lot of product in them!!!
      Yay for Babar!
