Soooooo back to why I requested EggDrop. When YouTube came out with YouTube Kids, I thought what a great idea now any kid can watch pirated shows without fear of any questionable content not suitable for wee ones. My eldest Pnut People, “Pipsqueak”, watched, learned, and sang many of nursery song variations. Pipsqueak also watched too many blind bag/box/egg unboxings. YouTubeKids was basically a QVC for kids in disguise. Pipsqueak wanted a Kinder Egg. I told Pipsqueak we did not live in Europe where Kinder Eggs come from. Pipsqueak, like Liz Lemon, wanted “to go to there”. When Pipsqueak asked me where her YouTubeKids app went one day, I told her that the Amazon Prime Netflix-Like-App replaced it. Pipsqueak prefers Netflix as she should. Pnut and Pipsqueak loves WordWorld, Zig & Sharko, and Property Brothers on Netflix.

I digress again. EggDrop sometimes will have the exclusive Kinder Egg. I know this because on their Facebook page parents avoiding a trip to Europe are asking repeatedly. For me, that is value because my beloved Amazon charges too much for this unicorn. Plus the reviews sucked.

Digression again…

Let’s get this box started!!!

Outside EggDrop Packaging

Like last time, I took preliminary pictures the night I received the box.

Two of my Pnut people, Pipsqueak and her sidekick Squeak, will be unboxing this box during the closing of our first home! The opened goodies were taken later that evening.

The EggDrop Box!

First look looks good. Can’t have the Kinder Egg in every box now 😉 I forgot about taking a picture of the note but it would have said something about the fall enjoy your goodies … very similar to an opening statement paragraph in any subscription box. I believe that the Premium subscription allows the purchaser to customize that note.

EggDrop Goodies First Look!
EggDrop Goodies First Look!

First Item is a Shopkins Blind Bag

image
Shopkins Blind Bag

OK. I have since learned that some adults are OBSESSED with Shopkins and actively collect for themselves . . . oh wait . . . their child(ren)! They are cute, but I am happy with my miniature perfume collection than to branch out. Besides my subscription boxes do a good job of me collecting armies of eyeliner, mascara, and other such items that maybe I should be worried whether the goats are up to something…

Pipsqueak loved the doggie tag and promptly put it on for the rest of the day. And the next.

image

How and where does one buy a pink bottled mustard? At least he comes in a shopping bag to tote him. Cute stickers Pipsqueak will put them everywhere except her sticker book!

Pnut people love items that come with accessory pouches!

Second Items are BALLS (Crashling balls to be exact)

image
Crashling Blind Egg

The balls appear to be like faces but after taking out of the plastic covering, they are like asteroids, hence, the critters inside being called Crashlings. I like the packaging of a toy within a toy!

image

Pipsqueak was pleased. I think more with the balls then the items. Pipsqueak Put the Crashlings back inside their protective ball sack.

Balls. Enough said.

Third Item is a My Little Pony Blind Egg

image
My Little Pony Blind Egg

I always tell my Pnut people to “hold their ponies” instead of horses. My Little Pony is a favorite. Everytime I pass and pay $200 at Target I try to pick up a My Little Pony Blind Bag, so this egg is a pretty nice treat!

image

I believe this is Apple Jack’s sister, Apple Bloom. Not sure. Pipsqueak and Squeak were pleased to have another pony to add to the pony farm. Squeak spent the most time with this toy since she was wee-er and knows My Little Pony. Momma Pnut told Pipsqueak that Squeak should be allowed to play with one toy in her EggDrop box and that Squeak liked the My Little Pony since her face and eyes got really big with excitement when she saw the little pony inside the egg. Squeak was doing the milestone thing of her age group and tried her best to put the pony in and out of the egg.

HOLD YOUR PONIES!!!

Fourth Item is a Teeny Freaks Blind Bag

image
Teeny Freaks Blind Bag

Huh… figures with spilt personalities. It would be cooler if the teeny freaks actually split into two figures since wee ones usually take things literally. The jist of Teeny Freaks is to have the instant good/bad toy in one. If Jay Leno was still on late night, I am sure this blind bag would be in his Headlines segment.

Ehhhh…

Teeny Freaks Blind Bag Reveal Bad Side

…hhhhhh…

Pipqueak was not really into this and neither was I. I look forward for these items to get lost in the trash oh I mean the move…

I only review readers please take up any disappointment and/or offense with the goats…

Fifth Item is a Hello Kitty Blind Bag

image
Hello Kitty Blind Bag

This bag is actually small. It reads that it has 9 items inside. Count me in as impressed!

image
Hello Kitty Blind Bag Reveal

OK, this is 8 items but I think the 9th item is the “list of collectibles” which I do not count. Regardless, this is my favorite unopened and opened blind box from EggDrop! The below four states are actually stickers, and I love that we got a Jersey card since I am a Jersey girl! Also, one of the cards was a scratch and sniff, something that I miss from my weehood days I hope that scratch and sniff items are making a comeback. And let us not forget the cute Hello Kitty figurine all patriotic!

Oh to be wee again!

Sixth Item is

image
Inside Out Blind Bag

Pipsqueak will love this. I know when the movie commercials were coming out, she made comments like “I like angry because he is angry.” Squeak commentary consists of squeaks and jibberish that sounds like she is wasted drunk but really a sober toddler because that is the stage she is in.

image
Inside Out Blind Bag Reveal

Yea! We got Angry! When I reminded Pipsqueak that she said she liked Angry, she promptly went “I like Joy.” And when I asked her why she liked Joy, she asked why. Which entailed a back of forth of “whys”. The joys of being wee and changing your mind at a whim and being cute at the same time.

Angry is Angry!

Verdict: Great value as always. I would love to pick up another Hello Kitty pack but have only seen this via EggDrop (hmmmm maybe they should open a store)! We love the variety and the ability to have both boy and girl blind boxes. Pipsqueak has been wearing both her “doggie tags” non-stop.

Very cute box! Also funny review as always lol Poor goats get a bad rap… or do they?

    • November 17, 2015 at 8:17 pm

I think it all depends on each individual goat. I think it’s like Survivor but with goats instead of humans. They vote. Losers get outcasted to either to angry villagers villiaging or “so disappointed negative nancys”.

I might have thought this out too much…

I like were you are going. I also like the idea of different factions at war. It is one of my favorite things we discuss on the blog lol

Yea the goats with scarfs are warm but quivering with fear. Every year. Every quarterly. They get casted off but are welcomed back to get casted off again. And once in awhile a goat will disappear with only its scarf left behind. Strangled to death? Or just left behind as with any light accessory. We will never know…
