La Ritzy Subscription Review – October 2015

La Ritzy is a beauty subscription that has decided you probably don’t need snails or marmot meats to make yourself more beautiful. The thought behind this is that beauty is not only in the results but also in how you achieve them. You want to look good, and feel good about it!

October was Breast Cancer Awareness month!

Yarok Hair – Feed Your Ends:

Yarok Hair – Feed Your Ends: I have received a smaller bottle of this before and loved it! It is a leave in conditioner that is filled with nourishing oils to protect your hair from the stresses of styling and hater insults. I mean, yeah it doesn’t say that last part on the label but I am pretty sure about it.

Yarok sounds like a great name for a llama…

Treat Yourself!
Treat Yourself!

Juice Beauty – Green Apple Age Defy Hand Cream: I am becoming a pretty big fan of juice and it is not just because it smells like real green apple juice is in every product. No, that is just part of the reason. I love the idea of a hand cream that helps my withered paws from looking like they have been through the desert.

Juice Beauty told me to treat myself… so this extra glass of wine it totally ok

Zak Body – Unscented All Natural Detox Deodorant: The reason I am a bit late getting this review out is because I have been testing this deodorant to see if a natural one could keep me stink free. While it is not as powerful as say my super clinical stuff that actually burns when I apply it. It does work better than others I have tried! I Non toxic deodorant is important and they explain it more on their blog. While I use my clinical stuff usually because I am a total sweaty pig, I could totally see myself using this for weekends and after night showers.

It is “Perfectly Unscented” and kept me that way too!!!

Strange Invisible Perfumes – Body Wash (Lavender & Rose, Sage & Rose)

Strange Invisible Perfumes – Body Wash (Lavender & Rose, Sage & Rose): I am just going to say that this brand has one of the creepier names ever and I love it. I am also excited to be able to try two different scents and not have go through a huge bottle. Both scents are super relaxing. They both left my skin with a light scent that was more botanical and less “I just showered with a huge tub of frosting.” Though, the thought now seems pretty enticing…

Added bonus because these are “Strange Invisible” I got the feeling that someone from the company could somehow see me. No longer did my shampoo Mohawk feel like it was for nothing!

+Bonus+ Strange Invisible Perfumes –L’Invisible Eau de Parfum: It is hard for me to describe this scent but at first it smelt botanical and once on my skin it got a more powdery musky smell that is actually pretty sexy. Or so I tell my cat.

No, it did not make me invisible and I am already strange!

La Ritzy

Verdict: Awesome! I am always excited when a subscription decided to bring vegan beauty products from a range of brands to my door. I am even more excited when I get so much for the price! The products were a great mix of useful items that add a touch of elegance and whole lot of healthy to my otherwise toxic day. I actually have been able to use every single item from this box which is super rate for me. From what I can see so far La Ritzy cares about what goes into their boxes and really balances the items nicely!!!

Disclosure: Box was sent to me for review. My opinions are all honest and stuff because that’s how I roll.

I’m so jealous!!! I want to try out this box badly!!! I love the Yarok leave-in conditioner. The October box looks like a good, solid box. I’m glad that you treated yourself and stayed unscented too!

At least with an unscented deodorant you won’t get that creepy sensation that someone is following you. I get that when I try new perfume scents. “I got Splashy Strawberry Singalong last time, this time I’ll get Figs, Rosemary, and Pineapple Bark.”

This looks like a good box. The title even confirms it.

I always laugh so much and never know where to start with a Subscriptionista review! The shampoo Mohawk comment may be my favorite this time – hard to choose.

So happy you received this box for review! This is the awesomest blog.

I loved the October LaRitzy box but it was no longer available when I went to sign up a couple weeks ago. Then they had a great deal this past Halloween weekend to buy 3 boxes for the price of 2… The ONLY reason I passed is that I just went through all my beauty products Saturday morning and couldn’t believe how much stuff I have – yikes! So I’m cutting back but great deals are going to be so hard to pass up… especially with Black Friday deals coming!!
