Peaches and Petals Subscription Review + Coupon – November 2015

Peaches and Petals is a lifestyle and beauty box with a retro sort of leaning. They promise a mix of products that are both bring beauty and style to your door each month. I could probably use more of both every day to be honest.

Cost: $14.99 a month.

Last month, there was some drama surrounding this subscription. We decided to give P&P another go round review wise because what happened was somewhat ambiguous and they assured me that they had only the best intent in providing great boxes for a great price for their subscribers. We had emails back and forth, tons of box drama! Seriously, my cat was even getting tired of hearing me hem and haw. In the end, I believe that moving forward P&P is going to make sure that every product places in their box is up to expected standards and that these ladies really do want to earn trust.

What you decide is up to you, but this is just where I am coming from…

Alright, now that we have had the talk let’s see what what November brings!

Peaches and petals

The Fringe Scarf: This was the spoiler and they delivered! The scarf is a color that I know is Fall and trendy but it may not work on my skin tone. Maybe I will wear it to visit my mom and see if she makes a comment. My family are the types that can’t help themselves, they need to comment. Even if you look at them and scowl the ‘don’t you even think about saying something’ look.

It is 100% acrylic but surprisingly soft! I am not sure how to read the washing instuctions because they use symbols and ummmm Real Talk: I just throw everything in the wash and never really bother to look at directions.

The fringe will get any of your kitties to notice you. Honestly, they have been talking and feel like you might be getting a little lax in dressing for their benefit…

Pantene Pro-V Shampoo & Conditioner Travel Set: I was for sure that these had broken because when I  opened my box I could smell the unmistakable scent of the shampoo I have used on and off since 8th grade. Turns out, everything was in tact! This was a nice little addition to the box and I am sure useful to a lot of people who will be going away for the holidays.

When I was in the UK I found the way they pronounce this brand to be so odd. PanTEN with Pro VEETAmins…

Sweet Treat Dessert Candle: This is a cute little idea! Like cupcakes? Like fire? Let’s do this! I imagine this would be really cute for someone who has a holiday birthday. I always feel for anyone who has a birthday around a holiday. They really get the short end of the stick!

I want to put this on a nice dish and trick people who think they have come in time to grab the last cupcake!

Green Inspired – Thank You Notes: The thing that struck me right away was how thankful the fox actually looks in the artwork! Just a thankful little fox expressing itself. I have actually been looking for Thank You cards that are a little more gender neutral, and these fit the bill. They are made from soy based inks and packaged in materials from responsible sources.

Now I have to pick the 10 people to give a foxy thank you to!

Infinity Forever Bracelet: I always dig a bit of jewelry and this delicate bracelet is just the ticket. I am not sure what it is made out of. I can’t say that the idea of infinity isn’t deep and scary to me. Like time or space, or the wait at the DMV. Hmmm… Sounds like the perfect place to wear this as a subtle nod to them!

If someone asks me I will insist this is a number 8!

Tea Infuser – Squirrel: This is totally adorable! I love a quirky tea infuser. It makes tea all the more relaxing and to have cute little things to add to the ritual. I think this fits in with the fall theme really well, and I am interested to see what types of infusers others people received. It is sort of funny when you fill the tail and dip it into the hot water because the squirrel looks like it may have piddled in your tea…

What should we name it? I am thinking Fluff’a Nutter Tea Tail Tip…

Verdict: This box has a great value for the $14.99 a month price. I will be using many of the items and am glad that there are not very many beauty related items in it. I am looking forward to seeing more from Peaches & Petals and also seeing what others think of the box.

Disclosure: I was given this box for my honest review. There are no affiliate links in this post!

Ahhh! I love your nutty nutter tea infuser!! I love squirrels so much, and actually made my own squirrel costume for Halloween last year =) I may have to get one…

They are cute! I know a lady who really hates squirrels. One year I got her a squirrel ornament for an ornament exchange!

They do an amazing job curating a box at a $14.99 Pricepoint. There’s a great variety of items in the box.

I think the scarf made it worth it. It feels like the one main item will make it worth the price and the rest is just on top if that makes sense

I’ve read a couple other reviews of this box and it’s so interesting to see the different points of view… as well as how I think I would have felt about it if I’d gotten this box and had no influence of others’ opinions. For $15, this looks like a great box to me – and that’s mainly for the scarf, cupcake candle (would have liked the donut one too) and thank you cards! The tea infuser is adorable – since I don’t drink tea, it would make a great gift. Same with the bracelet which looks great on Subista! Aren’t they spoiling a kimono robe for December? I kinda want that depending on how they do sizes.

I liked the other points of view I saw. I mean people have to be realistic at that price point. The scarf really is pretty nice and I felt it was a good value. I had a ton of back and forth with them about all the drama and I got a sense that they really do have their hearts in the right place. As long as they keep up good work then I will be happy! (also thanks!) Yes, there is a kimono for next month! I am not sure how they are sizing but it is likley one size fits most.

That sucks! Did you email them yet about it? If so what did they say?

A while ago and they said they changed the shipping dates. It makes me so mad and I know they will charging me for DEC in a couple days and I don’t even have Nov yet. I think I will cancel just don’t feel right.
