This is a  weekly feature mainly because I do not want to keep empties in my house for a month! Email your empties pictures to me at subbellaboxes at yahoo dot com. Don’t be shy!

Here are Artemis’ Empties!

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum: This is my ultimate holy grail beauty product. If I use it one night after not using it for a while, my face looks brighter and as if I had a facial!

Crabtree and Evelyn Hand Therapy (2): This is my go-to hand cream. I have a few more of these to use and I will buy more when they are all done.

Sisley Ultra Lightening Mask Foil: I got about 3 uses out of this and liked it. My skin was brighter and more youthful looking. I picked up the full size.

Kerastase Fibre Architecte: This is a hair serum that supposedly helps with split ends. I get my hair cut regularly, so I’m not the best person to evaluate its effectiveness. I won’t buy it again.

Rene Furterer Okara Shampoo: my go-to shampoo for my color-treated hair.

SubBella – Your empties look colorful! I’ll have to check out the shampoo.

Here are my empties.

It was a good week.
It was a good week.

Sorry, readers! It took me much longer to write The Box by LE Autumn Box Edition Review than I anticipated. I needed to take a break after that. I thought I would not have much to post for empties. I’m surprised!

Shea Mooisture
Shea Moisture 10-in1 Hair Masque

Shea Moisture 10-in-1 Hair Masque: I have used this in the past. I purchased it at Target because my ends were feeling dry. I used it as a regular conditioner. My hair feels much better. I noticed that the hair mask has Marula Oil & Biotin in it. I need to find my Marula Oil and find out how to apply it to my hair. I have thick curl type 2b/2c hair. Using the hair masque as a regular conditioner may not work for you.

Indoor heat and cold winds are not friendly to my hair.

It's empty
It’s empty

I can hear Artemis saying. “No, it’s not. Go back and get every last drop.”

Gourmet Body Treats
Gourmet Body Treats Chamomile Cleansing Cream

Gourmet Body Treats used to have a subscription box. I found a few favorites including the Chamomile Cleanser Cream that is a favorite of mine. It’s not in stock. I noticed that some items are stocked seasonally. I am hoping the cleanser is one of them because I have none left!  I tried hard to get that last little bit of cleanser out of the bottle. It is at the bottom against the edge. It won’t come out!

The cleanser is worth every drop.

Acure Repairing Shampoo
Acure Repairing Shampoo

Acure Repairing Shampoo: I tried the shampoo a few times and am ready to make a commitment the next time I find it on sale. It came in the second October Target Beauty Box. Be sure to read Subscriptionista’s review! It’s funny, and I am not funny this morning.

I love they suggested singing 80s songs while shampooing.

TATCHA
TATCHA Enriching Renewal Cream

TATCHA Enriching Renewal Cream: I received this in a care crate.  I want to interview the blogger whom you may recognize as a fellow commenter. Let me know what questions you may have about care crates/boxes of love. She kindly sent tackle to my boys. They went fishing with daddy and had a blast. My little guy loves to look at the bait and talk about the big fish he is going to catch. I never interviewed anyone before and am unsure how to go about it. Be sure to read the Kloverbox & MSA: Limited Edition Beach House Review by Subscriptionista. It’s funny, has a little drama, and the comments cannot be missed!

I love the cream!

Tatcha Indigo Hand Cream
Tatcha Indigo Hand Cream

TATCHA Indigo Hand Cream: I linked to the travel-size because you do receive free shipping and three free samples even though it is only $8.00. TATCHA offers free shipping and three free samples on every order regardless of the amount. I love the hand cream. I noticed a difference in how my hands look and feel when I use it.

I love my TATCHA products!

Balanced Guru
Balanced Guru Style Me Roots to Ends Hair Oil

Balanced Guru Style Me Roots to Ends Hair Oil: I linked to the full-size although I finished the travel size. I think Subscriptionista sent me this one. I still have the one from Nourish Beauty to use. I noticed no USA bloggers reviewed the Nourish Beauty October box. Did anyone receive it? Did you like it?

I love the hair oil. It has changed my hair life and worked wonders on my hair.I use about two full droppers on my hair. It’s thick/wavy/curly and is about 3 inches past my shoulders in its natural state.

It does style my hair.

Kimberly Parry
Kimberly Parry Organic Body Scrub

Kimberly Parry Organic Scrub Sweet Orange and Cranberry: I took the scrub on my trip. I loved the fall scent. The scrub had nice scrubbing power. I received this in my Yuzen Winter Beauty Box. Yuzen provides discount codes for the products in the box. I will be perusing the website to see what catches my eye for gifts.

I’m ready for Thanksgiving!

No more scrub:(

Garfield
Garfield

I took a picture of Garfield on Halloween. He is making sure all the trick or treaters are gone before going off on his kitty adventures.

    Great empties ladies!

They are NOT empty Sub Bella lol! You NEED to use everything to the last drop lol! At lease for hair/body products put some water in the container, shake and apply. Add more of another product to supplement if need be. This method can be used on a jar of spaghetti sauce but out the extra with the contents in the pot not your hair.

Hahaha! My weirdness is now internet famous. Agree with Pnut’s trick to get the extra product out. You can also use a q-tip (the cheaper “beauty swabs” are better than the branded Q-tip ones as they don’t absorb the product) for creams in jars. For the cleanser, try leaving it upside down on your counter. It may take a few hours, but the product will fall to the top and you can sweep it out with afformentioned cheap q-tips.

I’ll just see myself out now …

I actually love both of those tips ladies – keep ’em coming!

Great empties Artemis & Sub Bella!

Ok, this is probably a weird question… But I don’t really use scrubs so I’m not exactly sure when to use them? In the shower after soap? Or before? Or instead of soap? (Not on sensitive bits…) Can you use them every day? And the purpose of them is to soften/exfoliate/moisturize?

For the best scrubbiest experience, apply dry before you shower IN your shower. Scrubs are supposed to exfoliate, soften, and moisturize (in that order in my humble opinion).

      Happy Scrubbing!

Thank you! The couple of times I tried them, I was already in the water… So I can’t wait to try this!

I prefer a wet scrub. I wet my body in the shower, turn it off, rub the scrub in circular motions starting from the ends and working towards my heart, wait 5-10 minutes, and rinse. I will also use one quickly for a couple of minutes just because I can 🙂

Interesting… So, is it weird if I ask what you do with the 5 or 10 minutes of waiting?? Could be a good time to use a mask too.

          • November 17, 2015 at 6:03 pm

I enjoy the quietness! It’s also a good time to use a hair mask and/or face mask. I tend to scrub and deep conditioner/hair mask at the same time. There are days that I use the Balanced Guru Scrub for only a few minutes as an additional wake me up or to enjoy the scent.

Now if you use it wet, don’t shave and then use the scrub. It may irritate your skin. Scrub and then shave legs if that is your routine. It’s better for your scrub if you don’t keep it in the bathroom. The humidity and the possibility of water entering the container will ruin the scrub. I put the scrub that I am using in a small container to bring into the bathroom.
