Treatsie Artisan Sweets Subscription Box Review + Coupon – November 2015

Disclosure: There are referral links in this post that when used give you $10 off and put $10 into my account so that I can continue to review the box. I paid for this box myself.

Treatsie is a subscription box that does a body good, trusting that doing a body good includes indulging your sweet tooth. I love how the name really does say it all for this subscription, and feels like a name a very fluffy regal cat would give a box like this. Also it is fun to say “I am going to have a little something from my Treatsie,” and not, “My family stresses me out and I am going to go numb the pain that gnaws at my soul with chocolate.”

Cost: $19.95 a month or cheaper for longer plans + Shipping

Treatsie!

Treatsie

I just want to rip this open!

Treatsie

Laurie & Sons – Milk Chocolate Toffees (Maine Sea Salt): I have never been to Maine and I really hope to get there one day. I grew up reading Stephen King and wondered if the area has any sort of special magic that seems to be the case in his books. I am pretty sure people from Maine would be appealed at my reason for wanting to visit given Maine is known for its beauty and history. Oh well.

The pack assures me that “Milk is Back,” however I did not even know it had gone! Anyway they are right, these are delicious and prove that milk can be a good thing indeed!

This little package is suitable for gifting with a card that reads “Why eat yellow snow when you can have these tasty treats?!?” You’re welcome.

Treatsie

Quince & Apple – Apple and Cranberry Preserves: Are you like me and totally into small jars and bottles of things? I just can’t get over how cute they are. This is no exception  and will be perfect for the time when we have pancakes or waffles!

When I use this I will feel like a mighty giant who enjoys nice things!

Treatsie

Tumbador – Pecan Pie Caramels: They say that “the pecans sink gently into into a bed of vanilla…under a rich velvety blankets of 72% dark chocolate.” That alone made me want to eat this in bed while reading gossip on my iPad and judging others with more interesting lives than my own…

But would the cat tell on me for eating in bed?

Velvet Rope Bakeshop – Salted Caramel Apple Oatmeal Cookies: Putting salt on anything sweet kicks it up to the next level! These are little cookies but pack great flavor. I usually want chocolate in my cookie but these made the grade because they are so festive.

They use Hepp’s Aussie Flake Sea Salt… I had no idea I would be gobbling so much fancy well traveled salt today!

Treatsie

Verdict: I am very pleased with this months Treatsie! I was excited to try out new products and new brands that I otherwise would not have been able to try. I also like that I was able to get my chocolate fix, because isn’t that why I subscribe to these things anyway? The box was well rounded and who doesn’t like to have a reason to treat themselves?

I don’t know how you can think you’re getting less funny… I can’t decide if my favorite line is:
“My family stresses me out and I am going to go numb the pain that gnaws at my soul with chocolate.” OR
This little package is suitable for gifting with a card that reads “Why eat yellow snow when you can have these tasty treats?!?” You’re welcome.

    HA!
