White Peach Pottery Subscription Box Review – October 2015

Disclosure: There are no referral links. This box was paid for by me.

Subscription: White Peach Pottery

Cost: $35.00/month Each month is a one-time purchase. There are 20 boxes available each month starting on the 1st until sold out or ending on the 10th.

What to Expect: A variety of exclusive pottery pieces valued at $50.00. These items will not be available for purchase on the website.  The artist uses either a slab roller before hand altering or individually throws each piece on the potter’s wheel. Each box is designed around a theme.

Notes: The November box is available for purchase. The theme is Sugar and Spice. November 15th is the last day for custom made-to-order items with guaranteed delivery by Christmas.

I have great admiration for pottery. What I lack in ability is made up in enthusiasm.

Daisy came over to look things over. She sniffed over the foxtails and can’t understand why the cats love to play with them.

Zelda checked the mug for kitty treats. Link did too, but moved before I could get a picture.

There were no kitty treats to be found.

Zelda has been hearing stories about kitty treat boxes.

Fall colors! The mug looks more like a deeper chocolate brown when inside the house. October’s theme is “Fall Fancy”.

First up is the coffee mug.

Coffee Mug nestled in foxtails against a young blueberry bush.

The mug is a wonderful fall color. You can see in the first picture that the bottom is painted in pink. My guess is it is painted pink for breast cancer awareness. I like the color combination. It took me a few minutes to come around to the color. I was hoping for something imprinted with leaves!

I like the imprint! I also like the color of the mug.

I confess. I like the color of the mug because it reminds me of chocolate.

Link loves to play with foxtails too.

Candle Dish
Candle Dish

I’m excited to see a candle dish. I have lots of candles from subscription boxes and never received a candle dish.

I thought I was going to run out of candles in the middle of the year. Not anymore.

A cupcake? Sounds good to me! I grabbed this cupcake from my husband’s hands while writing the Out of the Box Sampler Mini Sampler Review and placed it on the candle dish.

Timing is everything.

Candle Dish and Votive

I am feeling a fall theme with this box. I like the simplicity of the design.

I am interpreting the handle as a nod to the breast cancer ribbon. It’s J’s favorite color.

I’m not going to guess the color!

The wind knocked down our badminton net. Does the candle dish match Link’s fur?

Link sat there to scratch up the badminton net. Don’t be fooled by his innocent look.

Marianne Tolosa, the artist behind White Peach Pottery, thoughtfully included a votive for the candle dish.

I like it when subscription boxes include things that compliment each other.

Chesapeake Candle Co Votive: The scent is Vanilla Bean! I have not burned it yet. The votive is a nice touch.

White Peach Pottery July Box: My boys use the coasters. Everyone uses the mug. My little guy likes to put flowers in the bud vase.  The bud vase is still in one piece despite Link’s best efforts. He has knocked it down a couple of times.

I love your July mug and coasters! Also, the little note about the cupcake made me laugh, and then I scrolled down to see a tasty muffin. Hah, love it. From your posts, I just imagine your husband roams about the house looking for things to eat, and always has like a taco and a cookie in his pockets.

My husband will only eat snacks if they magically appear in the house, a holiday, or a birthday. He does check over the subscription boxes to see if there is yummy food 🙂

Lovely pictures and great review! I think I need a candle dish now… I love the bud vase from July and it makes me more excited for the vase I’ll be getting from GlobeIn in November! (Speaking of the GlobeIn Artisan box, Subscriptionista owes us a review… Sub Bella, you got one too? In addition to the Benefit one you reviewed?)

Onderria, now that’s how I’m going to picture Sub Bella’s husband from now on… And Pnut yelling “not a nom!”

      lol Heat!
Does that local bakery have a sub box it looks delish!

They make delicious cupcakes. My area does not believe in bakery goods. It believes in exercising and marathons.

It’s a small chain. I’ll PM you the name because it looks like one is located in your general area.

The lovely Subscriptionista informed me I can write the Globein review. I shall have a proper Globein Arisian Oct review up in a few days to confuse everyone wondering if it is the Nov box.

      LOL on my husband 🙂

Sounds good! Maybe you can include pictures of her mug and I sent her mine too – I’d love to see everyone’s!

She sent me a picture of her mug. I’ll ask her to forward your mug or you can send it to me. Anyone else can send me pictures of their Oct Globein mug/bowl at subbellaboxes@yahoo.com. I don’t see the review going up any earlier than Friday. I’m in and out all day today. Thursday is farm business at the farm. I took generic pictures of my items. I may try to take a nicer one of my pottery piece.

These are the type reviews I like to see! Uncommon surprises at great prices that other people don’t seem to be reviewing. There are sooo many sub boxes (and single-buy monthly ones like this) I’m curious about, but my poor little wallet likes to remind me that I’m unemployed, disabled, and get all my income from cat-sitting lol.

Btw, I intend to have 2 months of BeautyDNA (ala the GiltCity promo discount) products reviewed up tomorrow on my wee little blog!

Thank you. I’ll be checking out your reviews.

This looks like a fun box

It is! I enjoy it a lot.

Darn you, lady. I bought one. It was the earrings from July and her lovely shop that won me over. Plus, I would love to adopt some day and I really like that she has that part on her page.

    • November 4, 2015 at 8:07 am

I keep forgetting to spotlight that!!! It needs to be in a review! I can’t wait to see what you receive in the November box. I love the items in her shop.
