Balanced Guru Unboxing – December 2015

Disclosure: There are no affiliate links in this post. This order was paid for by me.

I first discovered Balanced Guru in the Summer 2014 FabFitFun box. I was intrigued by the idea of hair oil, yet had a hard time persuading myself to use the oil. The scent was unfamiliar to me.  I used it, saw how great my hair looked, and never looked back. I don’t even notice the scent anymore.

Balanced Guru is a name that we recognize from subscription boxes. It was recently in the Yogi Surprise One Year Anniversary Bonus Box Review. It’s also the spoiler for the December Kloverbox. I can’t wait to try the body butter!!!

Here’s my order! I placed my order during their Black Friday sale. It shipped on Monday. November 30th and arrived on Thursday, November 3rd.

Shadows

Nothing spilled. It’s my shadow. The kitties had fun playing with the yarn.

Everything was tucked away safely in the box. There’s a shadow on the right side.

The items!

I decided to try a different type of scrub.  Note the certifications on the packages. USDA Organic and the cruelty-free seals are on the package and on the product itself. The recycle emblem is important too because of their commitment to sustainability.

Balanced Guru No Frizz Oil
Balanced Guru No Frizz Oil

Balanced Guru No Frizz Oil: I linked to the hair oil page. I use both the No Frizz Oil and the Style Me Oil. I selected the No Frizz Oil because I noticed my hair being more frizzy lately.

I’m all about no frizz!

Intuition Energy Mist

Intuition Energy Blend: I like the energy sprays! I selected the Intuition Energy Blend because it stimulates your imagination. One of these days I will order the travel-size kit and try all the sprays. I respond well to scents. The spray has an uplifting aroma to it.

Will this work in meetings?

Stability Scrub
Stability Scrub

Stability Scrub: I wanted to try a new product. The Stability Scrub helps relaxes muscles.

Essential Oils
Essential Oils

The mixture intrigued me. There’s a lot of craziness in my life. I welcome anything that balances me.

A different type of scrub
A different type of scrub

It’s an exfoliator. Massage gently onto the body, exfoliate in a circular motion and rinse thoroughly. I need to ask Balanced Guru a few more questions such as am I massaging this on a wet or dry body part and how long does it sit.

I’m constantly learning more about beauty products.

Scrub me Body Scrub
Scrub Me Nice and Gritty Body Scrub

Scrub Me Nice-and-Gritty Body Scrub: The scrub has a bold scent of coffee and spearmint mixed together. It smells wonderful. The Nice and Gritty Body Scrub is my favorite scrub. The aroma is delightful in the morning and carries throughout the house. I have excellent water pressure, so messy scrubs are never an issue.

I should have ordered two!

Verdict: I am happy with my order. I can’t wait to start using my products. I am curious about the exfoliator. I hope it helps with my hip and keep my mood balanced during my personal difficulties. I also can’t wait for my December  Kloverbox to arrive. I want to check out the body butter!

There’s a kitty by my feet! Puss in Boots posed for the camera and went back to sleep. It’s kitty nap time.

***Send your Black Friday/Cyber Monday haul pictures to subbellaboxes at yahoo dot com. I want to use them in the upcoming Subless Sunday post. ***

    Hi!

Thank you for your purchase, we are really happy to see you are big fan of Our Scrub me and hair oils ☺️

For our Stability Spa Scrub we recommend indulging in a long relaxing rub down as we crafted it with slow absorbinf oils meant to complement the soothing properties of arnica and relaxation properties of lavender. Can be applied both wet or dry, but would love to hear your feedback on which one you like best

    Have a great day!
