Deux Lux is a company that make purses because humans were sadly born without pouches. While marsupials enjoy always having a place to stash their stuff, us women must wander through existence trying to figure out how to lug our necessities around… Ya know, the things we truly need to survive like lip gloss, various hard candies, a squished power bar, and pens that don’t work.
Deux Lux has mystery bags available whenever they feel like it and is not a subscription so much as a mad rush to get a box. I first saw this box when Sub Bella reviewed it here! I am super late reviewing this because of some excuse or other you can just imagine one for me. This showed up in October.
This box was really big!
All items came with a dust bag, I think the doggie is so cute!
Nomad Wallet in Navy (RV $70 on sale $21): This wallet looks cool but it isn’t really usable for me. The spikes are way to sharp for my hands. I would LOVE to see someone try to take my wallet though, they would get a surprise. I guess if I am going somewhere and I want to be fashionable but also carry a weapon without anyone knowing then this is what I will use!
I am not even sure I could bring this on a plane!
Maggie Wristlet in Black (RV $68 on sale for $21): This wristlet is totally my style! I love that it is black because I have a problem with matching things. I think I have some sort of issue when it comes to that. So black feels safe for me to use a lot. The fringe is super cute and judging from the gleam in my cats eye she also likes this.
I think the fringe will look really cute as I stumble around in high heels!
Fathom Satchel in Mink (I couldn’t find it): I was really happy that they included a really big bag! Now I can stuff all the useless things I need to live and haul it around with me. The gold is really pretty and reminds me of a bag Sub Bella got in her box and ended up sending to me. The color of the bag should be easy to work with and overall I think this will be used a lot!
I finally have a bag to carry a box of wine in!
Verdict: I am really happy with my box and hopefully will get a chance to try it again! The items I received are mostly perfect for me and I believe I got a great value for $50. The purses are (unlike me) well constructed and stylish. 😉

Ohh, I like your bags! The studded one is great. I tried to trade my wristlet for a Jessica Simpson bag that looks very similar to your fringe bag, but it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke so I’m donating it. Ah well. I’m happy with my two purses I ended up swapping for! One of mine is big enough to hold wine, but I don’t think the handle could take it.

I’m a little behind on my reading – love this post! I think the intro is my favorite… especially not having our own marsupial pouches and “Ya know, the things we truly need to survive like lip gloss, various hard candies, a squished power bar, and pens that don’t work.” – The funniest things are the ones that hit close to home. lol
I think the fringe purse is my fave but do kinda love the weapon wristlet… can’t take it on a plane – ha!
