I received the Super Salve in the August Herbal Bliss Box. I used it on a few insect bites and a bee sting with great success. A few weeks ago I was in a lot of pain from the osteoarthritis in my hip. I felt that I have exhausted all my options of trying to relieve the pain naturally and been taking Aleve. My older son wanted to go out on Day #4 of cold rain. I wanted to go but did not want to take anymore pain relief medicine. I went through my stuff again and decided to reread the Super Salve label. It said it was an inflammatory herbal reducer. I rubbed it on my hip and had almost instant relief. I went from wanting to cry from the pain to having a slight discomfort and being able to enjoy being out with my older son. I am not a doctor. I am sharing my experience with you. What works for me may not work for you.
I had placed an order for more Super Salve before I ran out! Here’s my order. There are so many different things to try on the website. I kept eyeing up the gift pack. Maybe another time!
I placed my order on November 30th and paid by PayPal. It arrived on Monday, December 7th.
Super Salve: I decided it was best to order two sticks. One will be used for insect bites, scrapes, etc. The other tube is my personal tube for osteoarthritis. I can’t explain the scent. I don’t notice it once I apply it. It is a light scent. I associate being pain-free with it, so it smells like a happy scent to me.
Arnica Salve: I ordered the Arnica Salve for T. It is recommended for body builders. He does weight training as part of his track practice. He’s also moving up in the ranks in Tae Kwon Do doing more complicated moves. This salve is not recommended for pregnant mommies.
I also ordered the Arnica in a tin thinking it may be easier for him to keep it in his track bag.
I like that Super Salve offered different packaging choices.I did have a hard time opening the tin and ended up putting my nail in the salve. I put the lid back on tight and asked J to open it. My 7-year-old had no problems opening it. There’s something about me and opening packages!
Arnica Liniment: I linked to The Great Outdoors Kit because I couldn’t find the rollerball as a stand alone product. I am going to keep this at the farm. It will get a lot of use up there. There’s always much work to be done especially this winter while the weather is mild.
ETA:
The Anica Linement rollerball is .16 oz. The Super Salve is .50 oz. I hope that helps!
Verdict: I am looking forward to using the products. I’ll report back in a few months to update everyone on our experiences with the products! I am not a doctor. This is not medical advice. I am sharing my experience with you.

Thanks for the review! I’ll have to look into some of the muscle salves. McBoyfriend is always in pain after work, and I hate the way his icy hot smells. Are the tubes chapstick sized?
Icy Hot smells horrible. No way would i use that. They are not chapstick sized. I will take a picture of the tube next to a chapstick for size comparison. Look for it tomorrow.
I’m glad these salves help. Deep tissue oil from American botanical pharmacy, http://www.herbdoc.com is our HG arthritis and muscle pain relief.
I might just have to try this! I wonder if I can train my cat to apply it!
