These awards are a tally of all submissions. Some answers were so good that they had to be repeated word for word:

  1. Best New Subscription in 2015

    Rachel Zoe!
    Luxe Provence

  2. Favorite Ipsy bag from 2015:

    June’s neoprene-ish swimsuit bag
    September Sparkly bag

  3. Favorite Beauty Product Discovery from a Subscription box:

    ORG exfoliant,
    IPKN twinkle lips
    One Love Organics
    Define Me Perfume Oil
    Sage and Row Shave Cream
    Klorane Eye patches
    One Love Organics Wonder balm

  4. Biggest personal box disappointment:

    Little Lace Box
    Five Four Club
    Beautyfix

An unpopular choice I am sure but the Rachel Zoe and Mizzfit boxes have been a disappointment to me. The Rachel Zoe box because the hero items are often sized without that being taken into consideration (although I love that the hero item is revealed early so you can decide if the box is worth it or not). The Mizzfit box disappointed me because it started so strong and this last box (with the exception of the blender) was full of trial sizes and fillers (the waist trainer pushed me over the edge).

Little Lace box received the most votes in this category. Sorry LLB!

5.    Most popular subscription box item in 2015

       Sugar Scrubs!
       Dry Shampoo!
       Red Lip color!
Scarves

All of these submissions had multiple votes! The ants in my bathroom have loved the sugar scrub trend!

6.   Best Personal Subscription Box Value

      Popsugar with a code
      Petit Vour

Hands down this went to PSMH!

7.    Item you really hoped would be in a subscription box in 2015 but was not:

     A Kitty
     A Million Dollars
An All Expense paid trip to Hawaii
     A Throw blanket
A pair of shorts that made my thighs look slim

8.   Box you really wanted but couldn’t afford

Some said none (no impulse control!)
     LE Luxor Box
     QVC Popsugar Box
     Neiman Marcus PSMH
Oui Please

Ah the life of a junkie……….

9.   Favorite non-beauty item from a subscription box:

     Friends Ear BudsCandles,
     Sea Horse Pet Pillow,
     Blender from Mizz Fit,
     bento lunchbox from PSMH,
tray and geode clock from NM PSMH,
all the doggie happiness in Bark Box,
     Books,
     Any and All Sunglasses!!
Muk Luks

10.  Item you hope to never see in a subscription box again
     Harvey Prince
     Dry Shampoo
     Scarves
     Stationary
Discount cards for things that weren’t even sampled in the box! I feel like Quarterly has done that on more than one occasion. It’s like they’re saying, “here’s something the curator wanted to put in the box but we        thought it made the cost of the box too expensive.”

It does not surprise anyone including Billy that Harvey Prince is the #1 thing that most people do not want to ever, I repeat, ever want to see in their box again!

Question #12: The Conspiracy exposed by Subscriptionista.com that has most shaken your world:

a. The Goat Syndicate

d. Naw, my Illuminati sources say these are all fake conspiracies to obfuscate the bigger secrets to be revealed in 2016…

I was going to add that about LLB!! I think most of us signed up for three months and those three months were off a little. But they do seem to be getting back to their roots

I didn’t vote because I only subscribe to a few boxes, but for #6 Best Personal Value, I would totes vote for Kloverbox!!

Maybe it’s because I’m new-ish to sub boxes and I don’t sub to a bunch, but I LOVE Harvey Prince perfume! (Damask Rose? OMG, ah-mah-zing!!)

I have to agree with #11 Favorite Discoveries from this Blog. Especially everyone’s cats, Sub Bella’s cats, and the wonderful community!!!

I think the HP diss is from all of us who have subbed to Birchbox for so long! I think I have sampled almost all their scents and products thanks to BB. I am officially saving my HP samples for you!!

        I would love that!! 😀

If I didn’t wear perfume or I didn’t like the scents (I’ve liked all of the ones I’ve tried so far), I def be annoyed with getting it in boxes all the time.

Mildly unrelated but I just happened to think of it: does anyone know of a list of the sub boxes that allow you to send a 1 month/box gift to someone rather than a full gift subscription or whatnot? I know a few boxes you send the gift subscription and they have to actually go sign up and fill out things, and that’s just beyond some of my computer illiterate friends’ abilities… I mean, I could not be lazy and go look it up myself lol buuuuut I figured I’d ask first.

What box are you interested in? With some boxes that I wanted to gift that didn’t have an option like that I just put my friends name in for the shipping address and created the account under my name so they wouldn’t have to deal with all the fuss

I don’t know of a list specifically for one time boxes, but I’ve seen many sub box companies that have an option to buy a one time box (you’ll usually find them in the “shop” section). That’s how I got into sub boxes myself (trying out one time boxes). Off the top of my head, Vegan Cuts always has past boxes and specialty boxes available for one time purchases. 🙂

I have thought about subscribing to Mizzfit although after her meltdown elsewhere, I decided not to. And I’m glad I didn’t. I would’ve been so mad about the waist trainer thing. I don’t want to look like a Kardashian (several of them swear by waist trainers…). Also those things squeeze your internal organs, leading to digestive trouble like acid reflux. No thanks!

Anyway, this is a fun blog and keep up the good work!
