Beauty DNA Subscription Review – January 2016

Beauty DNA – the subscription I cannot seem to shake – offers the most customization of any beauty subscription you can possibly sign up for. I mean this in every sense of the word. When you sign up you will be given what can only be called a midterm exam full of questions about what you like, what you want, what you don’t want, and all the ingredients that you will accept and not accept.

I remember when I first came across this subscription. About halfway through the questions I KNEW this subscription would be better for Sub Bella. I am pretty easy going when it comes to ingredients and I am only now starting to understand how many weird things I have been slathering on my skin in the name of beauty.

If customization is important to you, if you can’t just slap on whatever you are sent then you pretty much HAVE to try out this subscription. It is for you. It is impossible NOT to be.

Cost: $25 a month/free shipping

Epicuren – Gel Plus Protein Gel: Fancy! This serum is Metadermabolic Enzyme infused. That sounds like a big fancy name which could mean that it will really do what it says, or that they know how to sell serum. It is supposed to increase “Dermal metabolism” and “encourage the skin to self-rejuvenate.” Sounds pretty fancy right?

I decided to see what people who are far smarter than I am thought about this product. A couple clicks and on Paula’s Choice I found out that this is a product which doesn’t do what it says, and is mostly a marketing ploy. I have a lot of products to go through before I reach this one and I may gift it to someone who is more interested in trying it. I am sorta disappointed that the value of this product is so trumped up by Epicuren.

They basically ripped this product and new “dermal abrasion” in the “output seating vicinity.”

Verdict: I still see the value in this subscription especially for those who have actual limitations on what they can be sent but still want a surprise. I do wish I had been send something that was a bit more fun to try but I can’t very well blame the sub for that.

Your product reads and looks like a hair gel for My Little Ponies.

I hope Paula’s Choice can be wrong just for you. Epicuren is a good brand I believe. Send it to me if no one wants it pretty please 😉

I read some mixed reviews. It sounds interesting only because it has simple ingredients and several of them are b vitamins. I wonder if it is old stock though? seems like it came out awhile ago

Yeah it does seem like it came out awhile ago. It does look to be in good condition so at least there is that lol
