It is hard to believe I started this blog a year ago. I honestly would post whatever while laying in bed right from my phone. I never thought anyone would ever read anything I wrote, let alone that a year later we would have amazing writers like Pnut, Onderria, and Mailbox Junkie!

All of your comments and willingness to get weird with me on the blog have given me life! I wish I could send all of you something. Alas, not everyone would want a box of cat hair (or so they tell me).

Thank you for a great year! <3 <3 <3

    Hmmm….maybe a banana bread scrub?

    • February 21, 2016 at 7:38 pm

      I would eat a little of it… I can’t help myself lol

    • February 21, 2016 at 7:40 pm

Don’t worry, I’m not entering, I just wanted to comment that I’ve put toothpaste on my face to dry out zits, and may in fact have some on said face currently…

    • February 21, 2016 at 3:50 pm

      Depends on the zit :/

I wonder why my it is blank….

          • February 21, 2016 at 11:15 pm

I thought that was weird as well! Dont worry I didn’t do anything to your comment. Weird glitch because I saw it and was wondering how a blank comment even gets posted. Sorry for the glitch sometimes WordPress can be wonky!

    • February 21, 2016 at 6:47 pm

Yes it does but yes it also depends on the zit. The deep sea divers suck! Just waiting below the surface, taunting… Just make sure to exfoliate the area and moisturize after you wash it off because it dries up the surrounding skin too.

      • February 21, 2016 at 7:11 pm

I am taken with the way you explained zits. I really am impressed with the “deep sea diver” imagery! I feel like we could work together on a graphic novel about a zit. A zit who will save the world!!!

        • February 21, 2016 at 7:23 pm

Haha, I like it. The zit just has to avoid being cleansed! Did you ever watch Invader Zim? Whenever I get a giant zit I can’t help but call it Pustulio.

weirdest thing on my face would have to be the bee venom/snail mucin cream in my 3Bbox this month.

    • February 21, 2016 at 5:37 pm

Right?!? I remember it was in another product I got in Ipsy and I didn’t even know! When alerted I was shocked… like why? Whyyyyyyyyyy

    February 21, 2016 at 7:01 pm

The weirdest thing I’ve put on my face is bee venom in a product from a 3B bag.

    • February 21, 2016 at 7:09 pm

Thanks for commenting and isn’t it weird how 3B brings the weirdest stuff usually?!? My first bee venom was from a Birchbox believe it or not!

I put coconut oil on my face one time when I had a reaction to a facial product and had to benadryl cream.

  11. February 21, 2016 at 10:18 pm

I didn’t have my glasses on and I used Listerine as toner. It burned.

    • February 21, 2016 at 11:15 pm

I’ve done so many awful things to myself because I didn’t have my glasses on lol I understand how it could happen!

I have a bottle of roll-on eye oil and a bottle of roll-on perfume on my dresser. I’ve grabbed the wrong one so many times….

      • February 22, 2016 at 10:34 pm

I can see myself doing this for sure. I am super blind without my contacts or glasses and I have done …. well a lot of weird crap because I couldn’t see

  12. February 22, 2016 at 1:02 am

Congratulations on one year!! The weirdest thing I’ve put on my face was a homemade banana and honey mask! 🙂

      February 22, 2016 at 12:50 pm

    • February 22, 2016 at 4:46 pm

Thanks! I feel like I would never be able to put it on my face because I would eat it before then hahaha

    February 22, 2016 at 5:22 pm

Hey – so, do we send you our name and address for that box of cat hair? I don’t see a giveaway box for that…

    • February 22, 2016 at 6:50 pm

Best comment of the day goes to CiCi!

      • February 22, 2016 at 7:40 pm

I am enjoying them all! lol CiCi just might get called on her bluff (as I start collecting the most CHOICE of my kitties fur for sending…) hahaha

    • February 22, 2016 at 7:41 pm

Weirdest? Either birds nest or snail. Although I don’t feel weird another snail now since I do it daily.

    • February 22, 2016 at 7:40 pm

Isn’t it a trip of how we will get used to things if they work?!?

    February 22, 2016 at 8:05 pm

I do the snail slime all the time. It really works! My snail lip treatment is miraculous.

    • February 22, 2016 at 10:48 pm

I need to know more! What is it doing for your lips and what product are you using?!? I must know!

      • Ake
        February 23, 2016 at 12:26 pm

I have the driest skin/hair/lips/everything. Despite experimenting with countless chapsticks and lip balms, I was peeling tons of dry skin off my lips every day. Pure Smile Snail Lip Treatment is the first things that’s really made a difference for me. (I’m starting to feel like an informercial here, but oh well.) It’s very thick and very slow to absorb, and definitely comes right off when you eat, so it’s not great for day use, but I put on a thick coat at night and that seems to be enough. I still apply lip balm several times during the day, but no more peeling lips! I bought mine from Amazon for $6.50 (expensive for a lip balm, but cheap compared to other lip treatments I was checking out). It ships from Korea, so it takes a while, but it’s worth the wait! Looking on Amazon now, most of the sellers have it for a ridiculous price, but Gangwondo still has one flavor for $6.50. They’re the ones I purchased from, and they included a free caviar sheet mask in my order! You can get it on ebay too.

        • February 23, 2016 at 5:13 pm

Thank you so much for your reply and I am going to look into it because I am super dry all over. I need all the help I can get!

  16. February 22, 2016 at 8:55 pm

Wow, Amazon has a whole section for Kbeauty!

They totes do! I get masks from them! I love memebox because of the sheer amount of stuff they have and the feedback. But yeah for straight masks I get my rump on over to amazon

  17. February 23, 2016 at 12:25 pm

Weirdest is definitely not appropriate 🙂 However, worst would be those gold masks from FFF. I’ve never had my skin dry out like that! (Meanwhile, what are you supposed to stick in that free entry box? It doesn’t say. I had trouble deciding between my name and my favorite brands of wine. The name seemed more practical, but the wine list seemed more… Helpful?)

      February 23, 2016 at 5:08 pm

Oh no – I’ve been saving my gold mask! It really drys you out?!? That sucks. 🙁

      • February 23, 2016 at 5:11 pm

I don’t have the mask but I imagined it was super awesome. I have dry skin as well so.. I guess I am not going to beat myself up about it…

      • February 23, 2016 at 6:05 pm

To the point that my face peeled :(. Meanwhile my friend tried the other one and loved it. So. Chances.

    • February 23, 2016 at 5:14 pm

HAHAHAHA lol And awwwww I had such high hopes for the mask. I don’t own it…

Just put anything lol I use the free version of rafflecopter and they offer only limited options.. sigh…

  18. February 25, 2016 at 5:40 pm

I tried that thing that people recommend for a face primer, Momistat chafing gel. I guess it worked but it felt odd to do it.
