Target Beauty Box Review – February 2016

Target Beauty Boxes seem to come out every month in a time frame that is as mystical and hard to pin down as getting a good parking spot. It is not a subscription but it does seem to come out each month nowadays. You just have to be fast enough to get in on the deal when it posts. The boxes cost $5 to $7 or $10 and include shipping. They also usually have a coupon with $3 off of $15 or the like.

This box was $7 with free shipping.

The Bathery – Exfoliating Mesh Sponge: Whoa this is bright! I love getting bath sponges because I actually use them! I just love to get all sudzy wudzy!!! This is super thick so the suds are going to be easy to get going even in my San Diego hard water.

I would have loved more of a natural color of poof but whatever, I will just hide it when I open my shower for public tours…as I do. Which I actually don’t…

Laneige – BB Cushion: This foundation sample was in a past Target Beauty Box but I am always glad to have another sample of it! I love this foundation because it looks super natural on, and it does not make my face break out at all. I have dry skin and it works well with it. It gives a light coverage that can be built up, and gives me a dewy but not greasy look. Love!

More cushion for the … coverage!

Derma E – Hydrating Night Cream: Again this stuff is great because I have such dry skin. I need it!!! Well unless you want me to wake up all dry and flaky. I mean seriously I deserve to wake up hydrated and somewhat refreshed do I not?

My cat agrees with this statement.

L’oreal Paris – Boost It Air-Blown Texture Mist: I am always looking for volume because another one of my many, many, mannnnny problems is that my hair is thin. So yeah I will be trying this out! It is a full size bottle so if it is good then the size is great! I do LOVE L’oreals straightening mist. It works sooo well. So I have big hopes for this!

The first thing I thought when I saw this product was: What other products Blow without Air? Then I laughed and laughed.

Vera Wang – Embrace: I actually like the way this smells. I love when things smell fresh and clean. It is like yes smell me, SMELL ME FOR I AM AMAZING! I could see this getting me compliments where my current smell does not. “Oh Substa!  You smell so fresh, and dare I say Wang’arific?” Yes, Yes you dare say!

It is not to heavy but still had body, just like I like my men!

Incoco – Nail Polish Applique: I like the design I got because I feel like it will be easy to rock. I have not seen all the variations yet but doubt I will feel too much box envy. I actually like nail stickers. They last a long time and are easy to put on.

I am all for easy, ask ANYONE!

Target Beauty Box 5

Soapbox – Shampoo and Conditioner (Coconut): It is so cool that this is free of all the crap that I am trying not to put on my hair. Like sulfates and junk. It is even better that this is color safe, because guess who dyes the crap out of her hair? Me! The cool thing behind this product is that for every full sized bottle you buy the company will give on away. You get a Hope code and can go online and see where your donation will be going in the world. Cool!

I honestly feel I could eat this. I mean I won’t… probably.

Skinfix – Lip Repair Balm: I am going to try this out tonight. I have heard really good things about this product doing what is supposed to do so I wonder will I wake up wanting to slather my lips in products or will I wake up and not have dry lips? I dunno, only the sunrise will know!

Flavor Free is kinda a bummer since I love a cooling feeling like mint!

Target Beauty Box

Mayfair – Body Creme: Made here in the USA this is a nice sized sample! I like the scent because it is light and I don’t need a lot of lotion to get that good hydrated feeling. I have never ever used this brand and now I will be peeping it when I hit up Target.

Sea Lily doesn’t feel like a real plant to me.

Verdict: Target Beauty Boxes really provide an excellent value for the money. I like that you know what you are going to get, and even better, you are likely to get things that are both great quality and affordable. None of that $80 face cream here! I am really glad I was able to snap up one of these and am having a lot of fun just trying everything out!

This was one of Target’s best boxes I thought so much that I got it when I saw the full spoilers. I did not know until then that Derma E was sold at Target and I have been enjoying the brand when featured in sub boxes. What a cheap thrill!

I realized that nail wraps are not for me and Pipsqueak was not interested I just spilt one decal for both my rimg fingers and called it a day. I thought I would love the Sea Lilly more but maybe its because I am using some other hand creams that I like the scent more I will go back to it.

Thanks for reviewing now I will be more interested to see what else the huge Red Ball delivers under $10!
