How sweet it is is this month’s theme, which is perfect for the month of February and the smell of the box.

Love Themed Throw Pillow Cover: I like the design that I got! It isn’t over the top cute, and will fit in with my box decor. The first thing I noticed is that you can wash this which makes it pretty darn cool especially if you have a cat. My cat Sophfia von Bearcat de Coronado gets her paws and well, everything, pretty much everywhere and its important for me to be able to wash things that she might be attracted too.

Namely, everything I don’t want her on.

Sugar Sweet Soy Candle: I am glad that they gave us a soy candle with a lid. The scent is super sweet however. It does fade. The actual faded smell is pretty nice. I can see this really going well in a home that has fluffy robes and a dressing table. One that does not have dust lurking underneath the couch…

I think this candle will make people think that I have fluffy slippers lurking underneath my bed…

Love Birds Salt + Pepper Shaker: This product is actually a pretty popular wedding favor. I can see why, because it is so cute. They are small but I always think birds dress up any table. These would be so cute on a breakfast in bed tray! Can’t you imagine being served in bed, with cute little bird shakers and some thin pancakes full of chocolate? Or crispy hash browns?

I want a breakfast in bed tray now… and to be able to eat in bed… The cat won’t like it though she says I spill crumbs already…

Sugar Scrub Shower Mochi: I kinda want to eat these which seems to be a theme on anything that I get that smells like candy. I might have some sort of need to eat everything that vaguely seems edible. These are little scrubs you hold in your paw as you shower and then exfoliate with. I like fun shower products because baths are more of a treat for me, and showers lack the products baths have.

May our showers be as fun as our baths!

Girl Scouts – Lip Smacker (Coconut Caramel Stripes): This is fun! It is actually my favorite girl scout cookie! I always buy my cookies from one young lady. Every year I put in a large order for enough boxes to get me through until the next year. At work, it is like a non stop inquisition as mothers try to get in on my bulk cookie buying action. “Just break up your order!” “Why not just order all your thin mints with my daughter and the rest where you usually get them?” These pleas fall on deaf ears as once I find a good cookie dealer I stick with them!

I am afraid to use this in front of coworkers in case they try to sell me cookies again!

Sweet Surprise – Marshmallows Cookbook: Subscribers were sent different sweet surprises this month. I sort of laughed on getting another cookbook. Do the ladies and Peaches & Petals know that I need all the help I can get? I would love to make these things, but doubt I ever will. I do however know someone who would make these treats and think it I will gift it!

Then, hopefully they will make me some of the treats!

Verdict: I liked this month a lot. I was a little worried that candle would prove to be far too sweet smelling for me but it has very much lightened up on the scent. I think there was a nice mix of products and that Peaches and Petals  really stuck to the theme. Now if you excuse me I have to go shoo my cat off of my brand new pillow case…

I like my hash browns not crispy! We just demolished a Samoas box today. I wonder if the lippy has partially hydrogenated oils. Samoas are one of the few noms that I make an exception for. Awesome box and review and love the PEACHISTA code 🙂

I’m about to ruin your life, and I’m sorry. But. Keebler has the rights to produce Samoas now. They are called Caramel de Lites, they are on your cookie aisle year around, and they have a version that is completely dipped in chocolate. They are also 2/$5. (Thin Mints are produced under the name “Grasshoppers, so you know). Keebler purchased Little Brownie Bakers and now makes the cookies for the girlscouts too. Same recipe, same cookie. I mean, I try to support the girlscouts and all, but DAMN those cookies have seen a price increase.

I enjoyed this months box. I thought it was well put together and my recipe book was for Whoopie Pies. The little birdies were cute and yes yes yes they would look adorable next to some scattered, smothered, and covered hash browns. 🙂
