Birchbox costs $10 a month but if you review your items then you get a credit of 10 points for each one which is $1 to use in the store. Points can only be spent in increments of $10. Which take no time to get. They have the best point system out of any box I have tried!
Birchbox is the “Gateway” box that will lead you down a road I have yet to make my way back from. Perhaps in that forest of boxes you and I will meet and discuss bronzer while spraying various products all over our hair. The murmurs around us will lead us to our next “Holy Grail” beauty item…

Acure Organics – Lip Lush: It is pretty kick butt to get a full size lip gloss in this box! I like the color a lot. This is the type of gloss you can slap on while driving. After all, do you want the person at the drive thru seeing you lips not look their best? I sure don’t.
Just kidding, they are too busy looking at my messy car to even notice my lips!
Davines – OI All in One Milk: They threw in the foil shampoo and conditioner samples in as a bonus! Score! I even got to review each one! Double Score! I have actually tried the all in one milk and while my hair did not look insanely different or anything, it did help get some of my tangles out!
Totally not good on cornflakes…
IPKN – Moist & Firm Beauty Balm SPF 45: I haven’t popped this open yet but I am curious. I wear a BB mostly every day. I like to have light coverage with SPF. Foundations can look to heavy on my skin making it feel like I am wearing a mask… Though with the huge break out I am having right now on my nose I might need to look into heavier coverage. I mean I woke up and it looked like my nose exploded.
Don’t even get me started on “Moist & Firm” lulz
Naobay – Mattifying Cream: I have dry skin, so I don’t need anything to control oil make my skin more matte. Indeed my skin couldn’t be more matte if it were resting like a rug on your floor! This sample is probably enough to last anyone a long time.
Anyone oily wanna be a guinea pig for this?
RMS beauty – The Ultimate Makeup Remover Wipes: I am so excited I got these! First I wish the pic would do the packaging justice because if you move the packet it looks like it changes what it says. (Yes I tried it sober sheesh ya’ll) I have yet to use these because I want to save them for when I take a trip.
I need to plan a trip.
Verdict: Birchbox did a great job this month for me! I am excited about trying all the products save for the matte cream. I was able to score a full sized item that I can use! Plus I was able to get some sweet sweet points for reviewing all the items in my account. I feel like winner winner kale dinner! 😉

I’m curious about the BB cream too. Is there a shade / color on it? Or is one of those “works with every skin tone” bs?
They have shades from what I saw on birchbox. I will break it out this weekend once I figure out which stash pile I threw it and do a proper review. Ok by next weekend since tomorrow I am working a conference!
