The guide that comes along with it has lots of information about each product and info on ways to use them! For me learning about the products and the people who make them really add to the experience of trying them.

Balasamo’s Family Kitchen – 7 Salad Dressing 002: The founder Tamara is a part of a large family. I am not even joking. She is the youngest of 20 siblings! Just reading that makes me want to buy all her products because of all the cast off clothing she was probably made to wear from her older siblings! This dressing has yummy omegas to help your brains!

You are already smart for eating a salad!

America Juice Company – The Ginger Gershwin: I am so excited to get this because I am SURE it will be delish in a cocktail! Yeah! I also love ginger, as it is good for my tummy. The owners of this company actually make most of the products with mixology in mind!

Why couldn’t I major in Mixology in college?!?

Jammy Yummy – Red Pepper Jam: All I can think about now is making a grilled cheese sammy with this. I bet it will taste so good and have a real bite. I mean, less real then my actual bite. The founder of this company brought her jam to parties and would keep getting invited places…

I wonder if this jam can help me get invited more places?

Soft Peaks Confections – Chai Spice Dulce: Sooooo gooood…. I wanna just have a vat of this! I cream or even a nice french toast would go from yummy to Super Yummy! I like the mixture of chai because there is something spicy and complex in the flavor.

The founder fell in love with a macaroon from a Paris bakery… I fall in love with the crispy french fry at the bottom of the bag…

Savor This Kitchen – Nomad Spice Blend: We are pretty crazy for spices here at Subscriptionista! So it is always awesome to get to try anything new. They say this blend would go well with oven-roasted spiced chickpeas, which sounds super good! It is rare to get a veggie recipe idea up front!

A brother and sister team are the founders of this company… I am always in awe of siblings who work together well… I can’t even get through a dinner without fighting with one of mine!

Verdict: Hatchery Tasting Box is surprisingly fun! It reminds me of getting a treats box, but with often savory items. I like that the products are large enough to actually try, but I am not stuck with anything left over. I also like the fun of trying things I normally would not be able to give a whirl..

There are referral links in this post! This box was sent to me for my honest review, all opinions are totes my own!
