Jan’s Farmhouse Cranberry Pistachio Crisps (Hamptons Lane)

I have sampled these in two different HL boxes and so when they went on sale on their site I ordered 5 boxes. They are lightweight and packed full of yummy stuff.

Don’t judge me but I can eat the whole box in one sitting. Apparently there are 4 servings in the box……….psshh whatever…4 servings..

Breckenridge Soap Co in Dirty Pilgrim

For a brief time my bestie ran a coffee shop in Breckenridge. While she was there she sold soap at her coffee shop and she sent me some of it. She had her own specialty soap called the dirty pilgrim based on her travels on the Camino De Santiago in Spain. It was deeee lightful! We love fancy soap in this house!

Dirty Pilgrim? Yep the journey of life is messy

Nourish Organics Argan Face Serum (Ipsy)

This stuff was great. A little goes a long way and it was very hydrating. It only contains 7 ingredients and I found it perfect for layering under sunscreen.

Red Flower Wanderlust Towelette (Good Being Box)

This is the last one of my set of seven from my Good Being Box. I love this scent. It is ambiguous with hints of cypress and vetivert grass.

I said it once I will say it again Vetivert was discovered by a kid weeding the yard……..

Aleva Sleep Easy Hair and Body Wash

This sample was a gift from my bestie. We have been using it for baby’s first baths! But then we ran out of bubble bath and had to use it for the older one. It works ok and the ingredients are pretty good but I won’t replace it. (I want to try the baby line by Beauty Counter!)

Camille Beckman Body Butter (Birchbox)

When I got this sample in my Birchbox I laughed. This company has been around for a long time. I can remember trying it when I was a kid when I was visiting my Grandma in her small Wisconsin town. Props that it is made in the USA but it is chock full of parabens. I used it on my feet because I figured it woul take some pretty strong parabens to get through those thick callouses!

PNUTS TRASH CAN:

empties

From BB LE Boxes:
This clear gel dispenses like a shaving cream and turns into a foaming bath gel Tingly love tingly!
I like Whish in a pump container but less than when its a tube sample. I love the airless pump. I was sad when it was empty. It does a great job of making my hands succulent.
From Glossy:

NUXE

I love it. I feel like a dainty (french) women when I use it on my hands then rub the extra on my elbows and/or knees because I am less dainty when it comes to application.
BB:
I use 98% of hairspray as a pre-laundry treatment. A teacher taught me this trick. I think it works. This is how my army of hairsprays is in infantry status.
YUZEN LE
I just finished this and I like it a lot. Definitely fancier than my BeautyDNA firmance but if I ever run out of my serum army, the serum on my list would be Firmance. I like to be firmanced apparently.

That’s all folks! Join us next week to get trashed!!

Great empties post. I need try hair spray as pre-laundry treatment.

My favorite posts! Going to have to try the hairspray trick. My husband is a carpenter and mechanic, so we go through a ton of Shout! And if you have lots of serums, put it on the back of your hands. I use it every night on my hands (along with face cream) and my 50 year old hands look about 35! If only it worked as well on my neck….

Ooo good to know because I don’t think I will be able to ever use in my life time the amount of serums I have!

I use nightcreams and any cream too rich for my face on my hands. Will have add any serums that I don’t care for great idea!

I am a Camille Beckman FAN! I even drove over to some shop that had her line, but it was shoved in the back of a cramped shop and there were several people shoved in that corner so I just gave up. I can definitely see how they’d be grandma-y scents, but boy does it nourish my dry skin =D I love all three scents I’ve tried, but No 25 is just amazing. I’m a hip faux-grandma, I guess, with my aching joints, orthotics, and prune juice…

Pnut I also love the Whish pump design! That was my first ever beauty box splurge from BB.

Susie, good hand advice! I have several serums I don’t use, so I’ll just put them on my hands at night!

Onderria our resident old lady! I just can’t distance it because my grandma had a bathroom with weird soap balls (that were never used) and always a jar of CB with the little pink rose on top. It actually works really well!

I did not realize CB was old school. I got a sample from BB ages ago and thought the lotion worked great and saved the jar with the hot glued flower for the girls to play with.

You didn’t throw a fit in the store? Like a full on tantrum for the items? I’m proud of you! Hehe

I’m sorry, but that Crisps box says its 4 oz. How in the hell would that make 4 servings?

Can someone tell me how/when to use hairspray for laundry? Google isn’t much help. I’ve got a bunch of hairsprays from one of those huge $40 quarterly Allure boxes (do they still do those?) like 3 years ago and I still haven’t finished even one bottle.

    • April 23, 2016 at 3:22 pm

The villagers agree that we need a Pnut post on hairspray and laundry!

      • April 23, 2016 at 6:05 pm

        Spray and pray 😉

    • April 23, 2016 at 6:05 pm

Spray heavily in any stain then shove in washer and close the door to prevent from inhaling fumes. Feel free to add any other pre-treatment I usually pile it on depending on my mood and the stain. Wash and possibly repeat (or give up). When desparate (and if an oily stain) I use Dawn!

    • April 28, 2016 at 7:05 am

I looked at some sour candies I was eating last night and couldn’t believe 3 pieces was a serving! What?!?!?! They were small too. Umm that is NOT a serving!

I just shrunk like $300 worth of golden tote items so… No one wants advise from me on laundry (oh and a Anne Klein suit which isn’t super fancy but ya know ingot it at Macy’s on sale and it was nice enough …)
