Trendsend By Evereve Clothing Subscription Box Review

Disclosure: yep, ordered this with my own two fingers and then paid for it with my own plastic card

Does going to a store and walking around looking at clothes make you anxious?

Do the ever present sales people asking you repeatedly if you need help make you want to run out of the store?

Does finally finding something you want to try on and then heading to the dressing room only to find them locked with no sales people in sight to unlock them for you make you want to throw in the towel?

And finally…

Do you have small children that make clothes shopping sound like climbing Mount Everest….

Well, then Trendsend by Evereve is for you!

Before you read this review, watch this video. It pretty much defines my style (and most of Maui):

I forgot to take off my style profile that I was no longer pregnant

Outfit #1:
20160419_065526-1

Lovestitch Mosaic Short $39.99 (On Sale)-Keep

These are 100% rayon and slightly sheer. They have a tie with tassel ends.

Free People Bittersweet Tee $68Return

This top is 70% Rayon and 30% linen. This style is everywhere right now and is called the “cold shoulder” style.

Free People Long Beach Tank $20 (see below)-Return

This top is 65% polyester and 35% rayon. It has a slight swing/flare to the fabric around the middle.

Verdict: This outfit is 100% Maui style (we would consider this dressed up). We love dressy shorts and easy breezy tops (i.e festival style……hehehe). I decided to keep the shorts because they are just everything I want in shorts. Plus the black and white pattern goes with any solid color tee.

I considered keeping the $68 FP tee-shirt but then I slapped myself in the face with my own hand and said………Snap out of it!

Braeve Side Slit Skirt $58-Return

96% polyester and 6% spandex. I find this brand runs small or true to size.

Sanctuary City Mix Tee $44Return

100% linen with contrast slip 100% polyester.

Verdict: I think I might be the only person in the world who doesn’t like maxi skirts. I do love the pattern though! I really liked this top but I prefer tank tops just because it gets hot here!

My clothing needs: Activewear (aka casual wear), Scrubs (aka work Pj’s), Shorts/ Tank tops (aka fancy wear), and swimsuits (aka swimsuits)….sorry maxi skirts no room for you!

Outfit #3:

20160419_070000-1

Peyton Jensen Racerback Dress $48Keep

92% viscose and 8% spandex. It is a racer back style.

Allison Joy Tank $48-Keep

This is an Evereve exclusive brand. It is 100% polyester.

Billabong Cardigan $58Return

60% cotton and 40% rayon. You can’t really tell by the pic but it has a retro vibe and super cute pockets

Verdict: This dress snuck its way into my heart because it is sooo comfy! It has a nice swing to it and I love that it is knee length so I don’t have to worry about exposing the world to my booty as I chase the toddler. The tank top also was a win because it is as comfortable as activewear without being activewear.

Cardigan? Nope…I do not own white clothing as I have not nor do I ever plan on sorting my laundry….

Survey Says:

Normally I tend not to spend very much on clothes. So these items are a little bit of a splurge but I wanted a few new things post baby to motivate me to change out of my activewear. I personally have to try on clothes. I have really specific ways I want things to fit. I think because I watched a lot of What Not To Wear and that show caused me to be super paranoid about dressing for my shape. Anyhoo… I highly recommend this box because it allows you to try on the clothes with no commitment. It does run on the pricey side for clothing but you have the option to select for them to send you sale stuff when available (which works great for me in Fall to scoop up summer stuff!).

I absolutely love the racerback dress and the shorts! I also hate white clothes… I don’t often get clothing dirty, but white clothing is just a dirt magnet, plus it gets even dingier in the laundry.

So when I worked at as a server in CA they had to have an intervention for me because I would wash all my stuff together (black pants and white shirt). They sat me down and were like you can’t come to work in grey shirts anymore………
I was like wth? what am I supposed to do wash my clothes separately? Not gonna happen!

Wow, I totally would have kept exactly what you kept. I especially dig the dress – I live in those types of dresses in the summer!

Super-psyched to see clothing box reviews on this site. Thank you!

Ok stay tuned because Golden Tote is next up! I got them both at the same time so I could see which one I liked better!

Love the shorts and tank dress on you. Love the the second outfit. It is so beautiful.

Thanks! I love the second outfit too! The colors are exactly what I usually pick but I knew if I kept it I probably wouldn’t end up wearing it because I never reach for maxi skirts!

The shorts are the best piece of the clothing! I also like the white cardi but I totally get the unpracticality I have not separated clothing for a long time now!

It is so cute and they have it in other colors too! It reminds me of a 50s mens cardigan but updated for ladies in a festival way. heheheheh

Love that tank dress on you! Beautiful color. I myself don’t like maxi skirts/dresses either. Probably because I’m short and they are always too long!!
