3b stands for Beauty Beyond Borders and is a beauty subscription that seeks to bring you the best in Asian beauty and perhaps products in general. I have heard a ton about these types of items and so decided why not give this box a whirl because it was $12 which isn’t too much of a monthly gamble for me. I mean, all I have to do is get a cheaper bottle of wine or two and the budget it all good!
There is a waitlist to sign up. If you decide you are interested I suggest you get on it and they will email you to tell you when a spot opens up. I think I waited over a month. It is not like the fake Ipsy waitlist!
Oddly, I noticed that they say the $12 subscription also includes “Unlimited access to our team to answer any questions you might have.” This to me feels like a challenge of sorts. Wouldn’t it be funny if I started writing this team all sorts of odd questions? I wonder what kind of relationship advice they give!

Invaluable info otherwise I would have very little idea what each product was used for!
Leaders – Brightening Recovery Mask: I will say it over and over from the rooftops of the internet “I LOVE sheet masks!” I think they were almost invented FOR me because of my great hate for messy stuff slathered on my face. This is to supposed to be worn for about 20 minutes and then you can take the excess serum and rub it into your face and neck. Or back of your hands! I mean yeah, they don’t say that but lately I have been worrying about the backs of my hands…
Hand masks maybe?
Sulwhasoo – Essential Firming Cream: From what I understand this is a nice brand. I am not up on all the Asian beauty brands but I can see how this is nice if only that we were given foil packets of the product. I actually don’t mind because we got so many of them and therefore this will be fun to try out and not worry about getting a bigger container exposed to air.
I am going to need to firm a lot more than my face though…
Skinfood – Royal Honey Propous Essence: So proplis essence is created by black bees and is an antibiotic and anti inflammatory. I actually can use this because I have all three types of Rosecea. It sounds like a bundle of roses but actually totally sucks. Anyway, my face gets pink and this might be able to help me keep looking normal!
Hopefully bees won’t mistake me for one of them while wearing this!
Dewytree – Blackhead Out Nose Patch: I get a few blackheads but my skin is clogged with this other stuff that I totally forgot the name of. Basically more gross stuff. I mean I am just a walking skin bag of gross sometimes. So these nose patches are exciting! Basically you pop these on a wet snout, wait about 10 minutes, and then peel it off. It should work to unclog pores by ripping the bad stuff out.
The fact that they are black allow you to really see all the gross… so sorry if this upsets any of you I just… can’t help it
Artatum – Fresh Powder Essence Pouch Sleeping Pack: More honey! What a sweet face I will have! Again this helps with calming down the face. You put it on your clean skin before bed, go to sleep, try not to get cat hair all over your skin, then wake up and rinse off. I personally love sleeping packs. I also am glad that this pack has enough for a few applications! Yay!
I can hear my face say “Don’t YOU tell me the Calm down! I am CALM!!!” when I pull this stuff out
Verdict: I think this month made me feel better about keeping my subscription to 3b! I am excited to try new products and new brands that seem this time around to be picked out just for my skin type. I enjoy honey as well, so maybe there is something to putting it on my face right? Either way I reckon I will be more attractive to my bear wearing this and that is worth the $12 for sure! 😉
