Saturday Trash Talk

If you have pulled yourself away from Memorial Day Sales long enough to read this post than I am grateful… I didn’t even want to pull myself away from Memorial day sale browsing…P.s Derm Store is having 20% off!! Also I think Old Navy is practically giving the store away..

Ok back to our trash:
empties

Kocostar Foot Therapy (Psmh)

So Mrs Pnut had some epic results with this foot mask and emailed us all about it. I was pretty excited to try it on my paws (because my feet look like they belong in a horror flick where the characters have knarly looking feet). Well, first off, you have to cut them apart. And in my scissored gusto, I managed to tear part of it. But I put them on and then topped them with socks to keep them in place. I wore them for the recommended time and….well, nothing. I mean they feel a little softer but nothing similar to the extremely awesome results Pnut got (aka skin leprosy). Which begs the question…Is there any hope for my feet?

London Pedisoaks Foot Polish

This came from my beloved Good Being Box. It is similar to a sugar scrub in that it is oil based. But instead of sugar as the exfoliater they use walnut shells! This stuff works great!! The addition of oil to a foot scrub is genius and how is it possible that this is the first one I have ever come across.

Acure Sensitive Face Cream

This came from a Subsista box. I am always continually impressed with how clean the ingredients are in Acure products. I also appreciate that they are affordable. I enjoyed this sample. It contains chamomile and probiotics to combat inflammation. And according to Amazon it is: vegan, gluten and cruelty free, paraben, sulfate, silicone, phthalate and synthetic fragrance free. Pretty impressive for the price point!

Spa Technologies Marine Body Polish

This came in my Summer Yuzen Box. In all my subscription box escapades, this stuff is going on the top 20 list. I wanted to say top ten but let’s face it I have subbed to a lot of boxes in my day and even making it in the top twenty is impressive. Anyhoo…It is algae and pumice in a citrusy lotion body wash. It is so nice to get a scrub that is not oil based for the body! Sometimes sugar scrubs just make sweaty skin more a mess with excess oil. This stuff lightly buffs and smells delightfully clean and fresh.

Pnut’s trash can:

pnutempties

Straight from her shower, here are Pnut’s empties!

Aveda Color Conserve: online gwp because I needed another rollerball blue oil that I lost (in home). I digress. Either this sample was not to its weight or I actually use that much in the shower! I have used this before usually after I dye my hair. I like it and had purchased a full size at one time before I discovered my Joico KPak.
Lenore Greyl Shampoo: from a Net-A-Porter LE box that I reviewed (see review HERE). I can see how rich old ladies use this I am not old enough to appreciate this.
Kani Petal Polish Face Scrub– I forgot where but Subscriptionista also received it. I would have given it to her but I fell for her video porn on YouTube LOL. For once, this was too scrubby for ma face so I just used this on my neck and sexy word for area above my bewbs but below my neck. I got 3-4 uses out of it. I love/hate the smell and there is no middle ground it depends on my fleeting mood.
That’s all folks!! Ok if you want your trash glorified than email your empties to: mailboxjunkie808 at gmail dot com

Have you passed a week after using the foot treatment? Because it might not have begun for you there is still hope… I am saving my repeat for my second May box for next year. Tis gross but I thinkmI can tolerate before ‘showing toe” season arrives.

Walk softly and carry a huge foot paddle grater!

MBJ the reviews I saw said it took 2-4 days for the skin sloughening to begin.

Pnut, I am glad your décolletage is soft 🙂

          hmmmmm……onion status is still possible………

Your feet will have more peels than a Maui onion *snorts*

I am wearing sneakers now so no one notices the peeling. I made the mistake of wearing ankle socks so if someone really checked out my kicks they could see the peeling *sighs* and I even put some body oil on it.

I need to try that foot therapy. I spend most of my time in workboots or in mud boots. My feet could use some pampering. Since I’m not on the farm at the moment I did a little shopping in the stores. There isn’t many places to shop in my county. I’m an Auntie and was able to pick up some birthday and Christmas presents for the kids. And was able to pick up some really nice sweaters at 90% off for myself!

Yay!! I love a deal. I think all sub boxers are deal lovers!
