Influenster Blush VoxBox Review – June 2016

Box: Influenster VoxBox

Cost: Free, chosen by mystical randomness

What to Expect: “Test products for free based on social media influence.”

Subista recommended me to Influenster, and I connected my SubBookista Instagram account plus my Pinterest, and that seemed to satisfy some requirements! I reviewed products that I’d purchased and ones I’d received as samples, then sort of poked around on the site. After a few questionnaires that I failed to qualify for, I got the Blush one.

Blush VoxBox: it’s wedding season!

ardell natural lashes

Ardell 109 Lashes: $3.99

I love fake lashes, but I just got a new pair from Essence [and I’m horrid at trying to apply them] so I gave these to my sister. She’s getting married this summer, so I’ll probably help her apply these for her wedding!

Influenster VoxBox Blush Box June 2016

Pantene Expert Intense Hydration Shampoo: $5 for 9.6oz

This box came first, and then I also got this same shampoo from the Target Beauty Box! I’m glad I like it. I was surprised how nicely it cleaned my curls, and kept them bouncy and shiny without weighing them down and making them more frizzy.

Pantene Expert Intense Hydration Conditioner: $5 for 8oz

I really liked this product. I did not think I would, but it left my hair feeling nice. I think it’s a decent price, and I would consider buying more when this runs out in a few months!

simple micelar wipes

Simple Micellar Make-Up Remover Wipes: $7 for 25, full size

I am having a tidal wave of beauty wipes right now! Good thing I like them =D I threw these in my bag when I went down to help my sister with wedding stuff, and we both liked them. I tried to explain what mice water was, but she was confused. At any rate, we both agreed they did a good job taking off makeup, and I also realized I got the same brand of Simple wipes from Subista and from my Essence box last month. The only thing these wipes [and most other makeup removers] struggle with is removing They’re Real! mascara.

secret clinical strength deodorant

Secret Clinical Strength Ooh-la-la Lavender Clear Gel: $8 for 1.6oz

A product I currently own and use daily! I like the scent, and that this sample is small enough to throw in my purse.

Because I often forget to put on deodorant…

Verdict: This was a pretty darn good box! I found it amusing that I already had the deodorant, similar wipes, and received the shampoo from another box. But, I’m not complaining because this is all stuff I like and will use! I think they did a good job of providing a little summer wedding beauty product kit, and I think people would actually buy this as a real kit.

I love all the photos! The petals, the purse pic and especially the simple wipes – it looks so artsy and I love seeing other peoples beauty products and how they store / display them!! (Possible future post??)

Thanks, Heat! That thought was on my mind as well. I keep meaning to talk to the ladies about routines and storage. Susie Adair had a great picture of her beauty storage, and someone else mentioned they were getting an Amish jewelry cabinet. Mine was made by my roomie, and it’s wonderful!

Ardells are the best cannot go wrong with that brand (and price)! I love the purse shot! I recently tried out Secret Clinical (thanks Amazon for that Save and Subscribe coupon) and I have to say that it is my new favorite over the plain Secret solids. I just finished a sample mice water and thought of you. Yes I know I am sweet.
