Avene – Thermal Spring Water: I cannot escape the fancy water these days. It is as if this is what the whole world wants to see me do. I wonder if we would all fall upon dark times if I did not mist myself daily with fancy water in order to get that midday refresh people seem to feel I need…
I need a 24 hour refresh somewhere nice where this water is for swimming!
Benefit Cosmetics – They’re Real! Mascara: I hate to say it but I LOVE this stuff. It works so well to give me eyelashes people can actually see! It does sort of make my eyes water sometimes which makes this something I wear when I am trying to look nicer than normal.
If only this worked for my actual hair! Flowing locks!
Klorane – Shampoo & Conditioner with Chamomile For Blonde Hair: Fancy special for blondes shampoo and as luck would have it I am indeed blonde. I mean sure, yeah, my roots don’t agree with that. But what do they know? Nothing. My roots know nothing.
I hate chamomile tea but maybe I will like it in my hair!
Shiseido – Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate and Eye Concentrate: Power infusing eh? Will I be able to turn the tide of a mans soul with just a stare while wearing this? If so I won’t be so pissed about getting another foil sample…
Hopefully my face doesn’t become too powerful as I would rather not deal with it getting corrupted…
Verdict: Ups and downs this month! I mean man, so many foils! But on the bright side I was able to review them all and so got $6 as my last bit of points rather then $5. So yay for that, but I would have paid another $1 to get larger samples so I can actually test drive the products more. I can’t be too mad because the mascara is my favorite and well worth the cost of the box alone.

I am with you on the foil packs! Why? It seems like they aren’t even trying when you get a foil pack! I remember in college when occasionally there would be a company handing out boxes or bags with free samples. Always with the foil packs. Foil packs should be free -like Willy! Don’t get me wrong though, in college I would walk by the free sample people 42 times to get some free shampoo and granola bars! My roommates would laugh when I opened my backpack and plastic wrapped foil packs would come tumbling out! Maybe that was the beginning of my subscription habit!
Also I cannot say it enough, I used to think I was not a girl with eyelashes. Even with mascara they just weren’t there for me or anyone else to see. Switching to an oil cleanser on my eyes and using natural mascaras (most of the time) has been a game changer for me! Mine are still fairly sparse, but unbelievably long.
HA I am with you on how I would keep doing the rounds for the free samples of stuff!!! But ya know when I am spending $$$ I expect more than foil packs! Give me some product to try over a week at least!!!!!! (funny aside… living in downtown SD there are always events and such… you should SEE my Laura Bar sample hauls!!!)
Oh and on the eyelash thing… maybe there is hope for me too???

I’m jealous of your box! Despite me repeatedly telling Birchbox that I don’t wear makeup, and multiple CS representatives telling me that they’ve tweaked my profile so I won’t get too much, I inevitably get two makeup items per box. Even with foil packets I would have loved yours! And Shiseido is such a nice brand.

Oh no! No need to send me all the things! I’m just giving Birchbox side-eye because my samples were always such a bad fit for my profile. But with the end of points I have cancelled altogether and can now enjoy everyone else’s boxes without getting into a snit.
I got that Benefit mascara in a different box recently and I too hate to say it… But I love it!!
