-$10 for the Lucerna option which gets you a 4 oz candle with a 25 hours burn time per month
-$20 for the Ignis option which gets you an 8 oz candle with a 50 hour burn time per month
-$30 for the Vivere option which gets you both a 4 oz candle and an 8 oz candle with a 75 hours total burn time per month

1502 Candle Co. – Red Currant & Rose: This was made in Ocean Beach, CA which is a place I have to go a lot for work! Yay for local San Diego companies!!! I am so excited to be sent something that I can find again near me and also to support a local business. It helps that this soy candle smells so good that I want to eat it. Don’t worry I know I know… it is for burning!
Speaking of which this cute travel tin burns for about 35 hours which is 10 extra hours than promised!
Pure Plant Home – Italian Bergamot & Persian Lime: Another California company (I can see the beach theme picture coming into play at this point) and what a beautiful candle! This candle is probably one of the best smelling candles I have ever had grace my somewhat constant pizza smelling home. The lime is so fresh smelling that it makes me have that reaction that your mouth feels when you think about biting into something sour. It is so clean and bright! I love citrus scents so much and this is perfect for my place!
I don’t want to burn it… I want to huff it!
*Bonus Item* Go Raw – Lemon Pie Sprouted Cookies: I think it is pretty awesome that they include a bonus item. While raw cookies aren’t my personal jam I know the perfect person to share these with!
Verdict: Vellabox really is an impressive candle subscription! The scents were perfect for me this month and the packaging is out of this world. This would be an awesome gift for a loved one who likes nice things but you don’t want to break your own bank getting it for them. I seriously felt sad that I had to open the pretty packages but it just got better! While candles can be a bit spendy and are a splurge item for me… Vellabox provided a great value that makes treating yourself or a loved one a really fun experience, even before you actually burn the candles! I am going to go huff my candles now…
