FabFitFun Subscription Box Review – Summer 2016

Box: FabFitFun (FFF)

Contents: FabFitFun offers full-size premium products that are fabulous, keeps you fit, and are fun! The value of the box is usually amazing even though sometimes over-inflated valued items.

Cost:

FabFitFun (FFF) is a quarterly subscription that does deliver on fun and value! Boxes are $49.99 (or $179.99 for an annual subscription) but if you are like Pnut you can usually find a $10 code. Rarely, you may find a $20 code but they are like unicorns I think the last time I saw one of those it was in 2015. Realistically, you can usually find a free item with purchase sometimes in conjunction with a discount code (need another water bottle)? Or if they overstock/undersell, there may be a 50% code (hook me up)!

So if you must have it, get it. Otherwise hope for a sweet code!

Kick Back and Get Comfortable:

Someone is in denial thinking its a cool summer now in Chicago!

Here is the box!

I love the outside of this box so of course I hoarded it! I have plans to store summer-only goodies once I get around to it.

I should get around to it 😉

OSEA Atmosphere Protection Cream

OSEA Atmosphere Protection Cream-

I love this! I had box envy as OSEA had been featured in some subscription boxes recently. This OSEA Atmosphere Protection Cream reminded me of something I used to use from Origins to protect my skin from those radicals (the environment ones not the cray cray ones). It applies nicely and I hope it works.

Because we want to protect ourselves from all those radicals.

FabFitFun Everyday Beach Waves Spray

FabFitFun Everyday Beach Waves Spray-

Based on the packaging, I believe FFF labeled over Beauty For Real’s (South) Beach Texturizing Hold Spray. In any event, I already use on occassion OUAI Haircare Wave Spray that I received in my Summer Zoe Box of Style (see my review here) and I also have a backup of it from another subscription box, so this spray goes into my “giveaway” pile.

Summer really is over = no more beachy waves sprays 😉

Stemulation Daily Micro Derm Scrub

Stemulation Daily Micro Derm Scrub-

What took me so long to actually write up this review was because I wanted to try this 8 ounce baby! It works perfectly when you want to minimize the stuff that you have in your shower/bath because you can use it on your face and your body. I suggest applying it dry to your face and/or body to get the most scrubby action.

Scrub a dub dub! Stemulation Daily Micro Derm Scrub in my tub!

Passport to my gift pile.

Betchsicles Champagne Ice Pop Molds

Betchsicles Champagne Ice Pop Molds-

My plans for this is to use as ice molds that fit into my water bottles since they are slender.

Plus I have no time for dainty ice pop molds that look questionably un-champagne bottle like.

Trina Turk Beach Tote

Trina Turk Beach Tote-

I love this Trina Turk Beach Tote! Surprisingly, it kept really clean even though I did not Spray it down with. Scotchguard. Which makes me happier since it is a sunny happy yellow color that has stayed that way with three squeakers in tow! It kept our towels on trips to the beach and the pool. I little digression: Pipsqueak was christened with the nickname “Sunshine” after her first day in daycare. She is also a beach bum. So we really enjoyed this beach tote and look forward to using it again next summer!

You are my sunshine…

Summer & Rose Yoga Towel

Summer & Rose Yoga Towel-

Ok to be honest, I was not interested in this towel when it was revealed as a spoiler. Then it was in my paws and I fell in LOVE with it. This towel is thin, lightweight, absorbs well, and drys out well. And is appropriate for wee ones minds to “Dream Big”

Burt’s Bees BB Cream and Compeed Blister Cushion

Burt’s Bees BB Cream

It is amazing the direction that Clorox made Burt’s Bees by injecting the bramd back in the spotlight since this trusty brand needed a facelift to be more competitive with the newer green beauty products out there. Outside their tingly lip balms (you know I like the tingle), I do not like Burt’s Bees cosmetic beauty line but it was nice to see the brand featured in the box.

I hope Burt’s Bees stays as one of those its.been.here.forever brands.

Compeed Blister Cushion

I LOVE any blister cushions and had placed it in my emergency pouch. Fortunately I had not had the opportunity to use it but I have had used similar blister cushions which were EXPENSIVE to buy so I am thrilled to have this freebie!

Because let’s face it, bandaids suck compared to these cushiony cushioned goodness!

Verdict: Squeakette and me both approve! We love FFF as boxes overall give a real bang for your buck. As you can see, we agree that our favorite product was the OSEA becuase it is the most reached for product in the group. The beach bag and towel were very welcomed and more spectacular that first thought. The only product that was practically useless was the beach waves spray but everything else was brought to great use!
