What You’re Getting:
Organic, sustainable, and local produce whenever possible.
Home Chef is in Chicago where I am so my box does not travel far and I am supporting local businesses!
Kick Back and Get Comfortable:
Subista was so kind to give me a gift certificate to Home Chef. Now I am addicted. Picky but addicted. I am choosy on which weeks I want to get a delivery. I also have to plan in advance not to go food shopping the weekend before (so I have to load up on fruit two weeks before).
The stars have aligned and we got a box…
Here is the unboxing!
Gratuitous baby chub provided by our sweet assistant Squeakette!
Here is a snapshot of the recipes that I will be reviewing individually!
And here are the individual entrees recipe cards and what was included:
Recipe 1:
Home Chef Balsamic-Glazed Steak
with garlic-Parmesan broccoli and butter-roasted potatoes
Recipe 2:
Home Chef Sesame and Chile Roasted Mahi-Mahi
with spinach salad
Recipe #3:
Home Chef Blue Cheese and Green Onion-Crusted Bone-In Pork Chop
with green bean and grape tomato almondine
Verdict:
Awesome sauce. Even the (non-included) baby was nomable. Everyone look forward to beautiful noms being created!

How does this compare to hello fresh and blue apron?
I wish I could tell you but I am hooked to Home Chef! Home Chef gets $30 off plus $10 off your second order. I think Hello Fresh sends a gazillion “gift cards” in subscription boxes and via junk mail. My cousin gets Blue Apron but from what I saw I like Home Chef.
