And the protein.

Verdict:

This Home Chef order looks like a great week! I wonder why the sweet potatoes were segregated from the bag (poor sweet potatoes). Doesn’t the trout look like salmon? I wonder whether Mailbox Junkie had a ton of salmon on her recent trip to Seattle. I want to go to there.

I digress. Stay tuned for reviews on these three nomalicious Home Chef recipes!

FYI: I bought some slivered almonds from Trader Joes today because I wanted to create an Home Chef veggie side dish by adding some crunch/texture. I am excited! Too excited. Have you ever had a recipe that made you permantly change your recipe repertoire?

One day I will try Home Chef. When I can afford to I don’t like their menu. Well I do but it is the food I can’t eat. I know some of their meals are gluten free but I want the carb drenched meals and they aren’t gluten free. I wish they would do gluten free versions of those. But I think I saw some amazing gluten free options for at the end of the month.

Yes I know Home Chef has been pushing to get more of the gluten free market share so that is good for you! Heh I love that you are a fellow Home Chef weekly menu stalker like me 😉

Do you have a Trader Joes near you? They have a gluten free macaroni and cheese (2 kinds if I recall), both of which are nommy. Also gluten free crackers that are nomalicious. And a few things too that are great I feel all good to my tummy when I eat gluten free. I try hard to let go of the carbs when I can because I know its good for the body.

I want to do a Trader Joes post one of these days lol! I mean, if I package the goodies in an empty two/three buck chuck wine case its a “DIY box” technically speaking?
