Why Influenster? Influenster is an online community that allows you to test out products for free based on social media influence.

Alright, this sounds good..but how does it work? Influenster gives you what is called an impact score when you connect your social media accounts to your influenster profile. If you currently have a small following on social media, it might take a little while to receive free products. Influenster has special campaigns in the form of VoxBoxes which include curated items for a specific brand or several brands depending on the theme of the box. For every product/box received a list of tasks will be available to you (usually the tasks involve social media posts). Once you complete the tasks you will earn campaign badges. The more badges you collect the more chances you have to qualify for future products/boxes.

Let’s take look at the Endless Summer Voxbox, I was very excited and surprised to see I qualified for this campaign.

My Endless Summer Voxbox came in a pretty aqua colored small box. At the beginning I was not sure how many products I was receiving as the size of the box threw me off a little bit. Want to see what I got? Here it goes….

I was jumping up and down (um ok, maybe not, LOL), but I was really really excited about everything I got. I honestly had never qualified for a themed BoxVox like this one that contained several different brands.

I have qualified for previous one brand boxes, so getting one like this was really nice. There are 6 different products in this box, the box came with an info card (not pictured) that gives you prices of the full size items and a description of the items in the box.  What is the best part of the box? It was free to test and review.

Let’s look at each item individually, shall we…

Seche Premier Colour – in Cunning, dry fast top $1.99, Lacquer $9.99 (.5 oz)

I am glad I received the shade Cunning, it is a very bright and summery shade. The other variation that was possible to receive was the shade Intrepid, which is a bright hot pink shade. Like I said I am happy with this one, I do not have any polish this shade so it is great to add to my collection. At the beginning I was a bit skeptical about these items because the box they came in stated “three piece pre-pack”, however I only had two items. After reviewing the product card I realized we were only meant to get two (LOL). Just an FYI, the top coat dry fast smells a bit strong. You will also need more than one application to show the true color of this shade.

 Numi – Tea, $7.49-$8.99 for a 12-18 count box

This tea is organic which means it contains natural ingredients. I was very glad to see that they included three different levels of caffeinated tea. The choices are: decaff, medium caffeine and higher caffeine, all three have different flavors and one specifically I am intrigued about, yes, you guessed it, the turmeric tea. I have read online many articles about how turmeric has many medicinal properties, as well as how women in India use turmeric as a facial treatment.

Max Factor – High Precision Liquid Liner $9.99

This is a very interesting eye liner. It has a flat tip which was a bit confusing at the beginning but as soon as I tried it was sold on it. The benefit of having a flat tip would be that you do not have to worry about the eyeliner tip becoming messy, which usually happens to the felt tip eyeliners. I think the stroke when applying the eyeliner also becomes more precise. Downfall..not sure how this would work when attempting the “cat-eye” look. I tried it but it was too scary to even post a photo, and then again I have never been good at cat-eye so let’s not blame this eye liner for my lack of beauty skills.

Max Factor – Masterpiece Max Mascara $9.99

According to the product card this is a volumizing mascara that is supposed to give you four times your lash volume. I am going to be honest, I did not notice a significant difference in my lashes when I applied this mascara. It really works just as a regular black mascara would, nothing fancy here. I do like the fact that this mascara did not irritate my eyes, so that’s a huge plus.

I decided to add these extra pictures so that you guys could really see what both of these Max Factor products looked like, specially the tip on both.

Now moving on to the rest of the products….

Iron-Tek– Essential Protein Shake sample in Vanilla (Full Size: $44.00, 30 servings)

I have not tried this sample yet, however, I have tried protein shakes before including the EAS Advantedge shakes, it will be interesting to see how this product compares to it. This one is marked as an every day product that does not use growth hormones and is gluten free. I think overall this is a good product, but the taste test will definitely be a decision factor in purchasing a full size version of this.

Not Your Mothers – Way to Grow Leave in Conditioner $3.50 (2oz), or $9 (6oz)

I love every time I get detangler produts, whether in a subscription box or free, I suffer from tangles daily so this is absolutely perfect for me. I have enjoyed trying the sea salt spray from not your mother’s, but this is by far my favorite product. It works really well and it smells absolutely amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing. If you suffer from tangles, this is the product for you. It is really affordable and that is a major thumbs up.

That Seche top coat is a cult item. It takes longer to dry if I recall but my mani lasted longer than OPI or Essie’s top coats (I fell down the Zoya not Julip rabbit hole).

The great thing about the Seche is that, according to their directions, you don’t have to let your color polish dry. Put on a base coat for the Seche to adhere to & polish, polish again if needed, and the top off without waiting for the top polish layer to dry. I use it on my toenails & get a MONTH of wear from this method. I’m really hard on my nails, so I never paint them.

Thats even better I hate waiting for my polish to dry because it always seems to take forver and then I always end up ruining my nails lol ugh struggles..
